  1. >One of my fishing buddies always starts out with a buzz-bait. He will ocasionaly use a T-rigged worm if he is not catching any on a buzzbait or a spinnerbait. The annoying part is that he usually catches the biggest bass of the trip. He has never caught more bass than me though. ;D
  2. Sounds Great! ;D Good Luck!!!
  3. I try to check this site once a day. If I have spare time, I am usualy on this site.
  4. There will still be some bass around the docks, but they might be tougher to catch because of the fishing pressure.
  5. I wish that it would work that way, Instead of me catching 100 small bass last year, I could have caught 10 10lbers!!! I think the question should be, Would you rather catch 100 small bass or 1 10lber?
  6. How long does it take for bass to go through the spawning process? (prespawn-spawn-postspawn) Thanks.
  7. Try a brightly colored suspending jerk bait. You already have an important aspect of bass fishing down, persistance. Good Luck!
  8. No where in my post did I say that I would stop fishing if they feel pain. I personaly don't care. My friend does not fish because he says that It hurts the fish to hook them. > Thank you Mullman for your half way intelligent post.
  9. I will be praying for them.
  10. Do fish feel pain when we hook them? I would like to think that they don't. What is your opinion? ???
  11. Selection wise: Gander Mountain. Price: Walmart The people that work at Walmart have no idea about the fishing stuff. Thats ok though because I know what I am doing. Walmart really comes in handy for me!
  12. Bass do not have that good of memory. It will only take a slight change to make them bite again. Good Luck!! ;D
  13. Fish the 14 ft. range with deep suspending jerk baits and medium suspending jerk baits. FISH SLOWLY.
  14. It is... [glb] GREAT[/glb]to be a bass fisherman!! ;D At school when I have nothing to do, I pull out a fishing magazine. We had a progect where we researched an artist, I picked AL Agnew. ( he paints fish, and wildlife) I think that bass fishing is the best sport there is. I always look forward to the next time that I can go fishing. I proudly display my B.A.S.S sticker. [glb] I am glad that I am a fisherman.[/glb]
  15. LOL!! Great joke! ;D
  16. Try a drop shot rig. This will keep your bait above the bottom. It will also help you keep the bait in the Strike zone longer.
  17. I caught a big bluegill on a four inch senko. I can not figure out how he got the 1/0 widegap hook in his mouth. I have also caught a rock bass on the same lure. I have also caught a three foot log that I was sure was a musky. That was a big let down. :'(
  18. The public lake near me is very unclean. There is lots of litter around the lake and in the lake. When I go fishing I pick up the trash around the lake but I can not control what is in the lake. I personally will not eat the fish in this lake. The main reason is that there are not many fish in this lake, and they are very pressured. I would rather go to a private farm pond to get fish to eat. Hope this makes sence.
  19. I am 14, but thanks to this site, I know quite a bit about fishing! ;D
  20. There are two articles in the newest issue of Bassmaster relating to this. Personaly I think the Tiger bass eliminate the challenge in bass fishing. I understand that it is great for farm ponds when you want to start kids fishing, but I enjoy out smarting the bass to make them bite.
  21. I think senkos are great. This style of bait catches way to many fish to be considered a fad. Zoom's Z nail and the Yum Dinger are less as exspensive and work great. Texas rig them in cover or wacky rig them in the open. As long as you don't fish them to fast, they will catch fish.
  22. It does upset me to see people keep big bass to eat! It is fine if they keep smaller bass because it helps the big bass grow bigger. Bass over 3 lbs deserve to live. Panfish and small bass taste better anyway! ;D
  23. Thanks JT! I was looking for a group I could join. I am finally in a "bass fishing club!" Do you also have a group for the "Super Six?" Thanks again.
  24. Great Joke!! Thanks. ;D
  25. Great job adding new catagories to this forum! I really like the way it is set up. Everyone neads to think through there posts and type erverything they want to say on one post instead of four. Don't post just to get a post. There is a ton of information available on this site. Good job!! ;D
