  1. Some soft plastics that I’ve made.
  2. I have been making my own soft plastics for some time and I also cast my own bullets for reloading. I am wanting to start casting my on swing jigs but I would like to make them with removable hooks similar to the attached images. Where could I get the wire forms made like these?
  3. You may want to look at, or add to your list Seaark boats. They have higher h.p. ratings for their hulls than most you have listed.
  4. Kistler rods and ALX rods.

I got a good Alabama 8 pt. today to end my hunting season
  6. http://fromthetrenchesworldreport.com/wal-mart-forbidden-by-corporate-to-reorder-ammo-for-sale-to-public/31289/ I posted this link but there are several other sources reporting the same.
  7. I have not used a wild rod but I do have 2 of the Quantum smokes and really like them. One of mine also wears a lews tournament pro reel and it's a great combo.
  8. I have been catching some fish on the caw fatty rigged on a jika rig. I really have not tried the other Havoc baits much.
  9. The ultra vibe speed worm became one of my go to baits last year. They worked great for me Texas rigged with a 3/8 peek a boo worm weight. I rig them tail down. The best method for me was to cast it out, let it sink to the bottom then reel it fairly fast a few turns of the reel handle then kill it and repeat. Most fish would crush it during a pause. I also like to burn it over the top of grass. Fukes, speedworms, brush hogs, trick worms, Zoom makes some great plastics.
  10. The lews tournament pro cast a little further and smoother than the Smoke pt.
  11. I bought a smoke pt and a lews tournament pro in the spring of last year. They are comparable in weight and price. I like the smoke reel but I like the tournament pro better and plan on buying another one soon.
  12. I have never tried a Dobyns rod but would like to. I do own a 7' mh duckett rod and love it. One of the main reasons I don't have an opinion on the Dobyns rods is that nobody stocks them. I don't buy rods whithout being able to handle one just like it to see if I like the feel of it, preferrably with the reel I plan on using with it attached. I just can't order something based solely on other peoples opinion.
  13. Lew's tournament pros are one of the best reels made in my opinion.
  14. The back half of a YUM Money Craw has worked best for me.
  15. Shouldn't they be made to handle some heat. It's not like my storage compartments in my boat are climate controlled. Aren't other brands stored in the same manner.
  16. BP (or any gas company) Ranger (or any major boat company) Any outboard manufacture Ford (I just like Skeet Reese's truck) Tackle Warehouse (covers all fishing tackle and gear) Holiday Inn Wal-mart (I don't even like Wal-mart but it would cover my food and pretty much anything else I would need like batteries, clothes, you name it) Yep, that would be the life.
  17. There are alot of good choices in this price range and alot of good suggestions on here. For a good all around set up I would recomend a 6'6" to 7' mh Duckett rod and a Lews Tournament Pro reel with a 6.4:1 gear ratio. You can substitute with some of the above mentioned brands but I would stick with my length, action, and gear ratio recomendations for a general, all around setup.
  18. Zoom trick worms seem to work when nothin else will. I have had alot of good days using Brush hogs and ultra vibe speedworms also. I have noticed a few more defective baits in packages of zoom baits lately though. You can get other brands of the same designs and probably get a better made bait that will perform the same as the zoom versions.
  19. It's named Major League Fishing.
  20. I now have 3 rods with micro guides. I believe they are here to stay and not just a fad. The reason is they flat out work great. They have several pros and little if any cons. I plan on all my new rod purchases having micros.
  21. I just bought one of these www.tigerodz.com . I got a 7' mh canoe creek glass cranking model just for bigger cranks but the 7' med feels like a great all around crankbait rod. I haven't had mine long but so far I like it alot. They are made in America have micro guides and a warranty. Set me back $100.
  22. My favorite swim jig trailer, is the back half of a YUM money craw.
