I use the Dulock snap swivel on just about all of my equipment. You can get them in verious sizes and I match the size of the snap to the line. I don't think a fish can straighten a Dulock snap. For me it is easer to retie to the snap than to the lure.

On LC you don't have to change anything. One more reason to use them.

I always use a rubber net. Why take a chance to get a hook in the hand by lipping one.

Like RW said their are day live bait will out catch any lure. Nothing beats the real thing.

Sunline Defier is quite expensive. It is around $40 for 330 yards.

You throw your 15 dollor reel for a hour or two and then try it all day long with a good quality reel and you will see the difference. It might be insane to pay more than $100 for a quality reel but I personal think you get what you pay for.

If you sitll have the catalog that listed the Rick Clunn for $9.99 in it the prices are good till the end of March this year. It was the Christmas catalog. In the later catalog they had raised the price to $14.95

Time you pay shipping one way that is going to one expensive LC. I would just fish it like it is. It will not make any difference to the fish.
