  1. I have fished with RW and I can tell you he don't fish with a off-brands. Just SHIMANO
  2. I know a bunch of Catfishing and Crappie fishman. I cannot believe they would use any thing like a bass for bait. All the Crappie fisherman use either natural or artifical bait. The cat people use cut bait or some type of stink bait.
  3. Shadcranker You have hit it right on the head. Bud

Agree with you 100%. Love to fish them. Bud
  5. Difference LC baits have difference sounding rattles. Some are louder than other.
  6. I bet it won't break like that line you was using the last time we went. Joey if you don't like it just get you some Sunline Defier and laught at the rest. ;D ;D ;D
  7. G.Loomis IMX MBR844C with a Shimano Chronarch 100B
  8. Welcome to the Lucky Craft club. It won't be the last one you will buy.
  9. If you did that the insurgents would have the best equipment.

None. The Kinami Baits are made by his son.
  11. Go ahead and sink it. It will not hurt if some of the branches brake off. The easy way to make fish attractor is to use 5 gal plastic bucket. Just remoce all paper from the outside and remoce bail. Put about 3 inch of gravel in and sink. The algie will grow on the bucket side and fish will come to it. By using the bucket you will not get hung up with your lures and they are cheap. Most time they are free.
  12. Well you did not get me fired up. I don't let this forum get me fired up. I am to old for that. I was only saying their is a lot of grass and crappie brushpiule in Ky lake. Yes their are more in the bays and on the creek channel than their are in the midedle of the lake. Backlashes are caused by not having the reel set correct or by casting into the wind will also do it. It is cause by the man using the reel not the reel. I can cast a 3/16 oz tube with any of my BC with no backlash problem. My sugession would go with a spinning rod. Hope thiis helps. Bud
  13. Never had a problem with a palomar knot.
  14. still Loomis the same as it has been for several years
  15. Baitcaster: Shimano Chronarch 100B Spinning: Shimano Stradic 2500 mgFA
  16. I use a SJR IMX 783 Med Heavy with a Stradic 2500 MGfa for tubes. I go no heavy than #6 Yo-Zuri Ultra Soft Line. Backlashes are cause by the user not the reel. I don't know what part of the lake you are fishing but the lake has a lot of cover in the form of grass and crappie bushpiles.
  17. Do they make a Rod???? ;D ;D ;D ;D
  18. When you are the BEST you don't worry about the rest
  19. Yes I know RW I am going to make interesting post here in a few weeks.
  20. The clawfish bait I use is top SECRET. Their is only 2 or 3 people who use it and all have been sworned not to tell. RW is the only one who is not part of the group who knows.
  21. The best place to catch Smallmouth in Ky lake is on the old river channel on the LBL side. Sit boat in the deep water and cast to the shallow and retrieve to the drops. I use a 4 inch tube with a slide in head 1/4 or 3/8 oz rigger weedlwss. If you wants to have some fun use RW live bait method on the Tennessee rive
  22. I use 8# on a lot of Cranks Baits
  23. Live bait might be for crappie but it will catch bass. Nothing beat natural pray. That is what all artifical bait is trying to minic.
  24. All my tackle is in Falcon boxes. Never had a problem with one of them. The worm bags are idea for carring bags of soft plastic.
