That was available in the Navy. If memory serves me correct, it was always an option. An option, the other being if you refused to take that route, the Capt. had the option of restricting you to the ship for awhile and or sending you to rehab. Normally, it was because you screwed up in the first place. By agreeing to take antabuse, you showed up at sickcall that morning and took your medicine. Everyday. Have never heard of any side effects other than doing what its supposed to do. Make you sick if ya drink. I also know of some friends that just realized they had a drinking problem and volunteered to take the pill.

How close is deeper water to the dock, or how close to a channel? Are you on a point, or on a bank that is straight? any other features that would draw bass to your area? Fastest way to draw predators is to have a food source in the area as mentioned. Dropping range cubes around the dock will draw lots of species of fish to the area. Range cubes attract minnows, cats, carp for sure. Some brush would also help draw them in faster with more cover mixed into the shaded areas.

No, for the simple reason that the bullet will just lay flat and the bait will not stand up. I used to take balsa toothpicks and break them off and slide a piece of the toothpick into the craws years ago. Try this in a sink, you will see the craws will lift up as in a defensive posture. Great trick back in the late 80's.

All I can do is agree with Muddy, it bites when one posts a picture on here and guys have called them out on it, basically calling someone a liar, and this doesn't just apply to BIG BASS guys, it aplies to anyone. WRB, as said, there are some guys on here that can make "an educated guess" like yourself. But you said it your self, without length and girth, its a guess. Thats cool when the guess is not an attack on someone, and you know the difference, thus an educated guess. 8-)

Our biologists in Texas say that the majority of our fish, bass, don't ever see a lure in a years time. Which is why I don't see how it effects catching any different now than back in the early days. Fish are still doing what they did in the 60's, 70's, 80's.................. they spawn, they eat, they still like vegitation, still like shade and darkness, still ambush, still suspend, still break hearts once in awhile. We just have more tackle and techniques to persue them.

Sugar Lake is not far across the border from Falcon. Just another great fishery in Mexico that has been low on the radar. We send our top 20 teams from BassChamps in Texas to fish for the International cup on Sugar lake against the Mexico pros. Awesome fishery.

25% is big error margin. The bigger the fish, the larger the error margin. A 2lb fish has a .50 lb error margin, thus that fish could weigh 1.5 to 2.5 with your guess. A 10 lb bass would have an error margin of 7.5 to 12.5 lb based on 25%. The larger the bass, the larger the 25% error margin. 25% length, 20-22 inches would be 15 inches on the lower extreme and over 25 on the upper extreme. So your guess based on 25% could be 15-25 inches. Thats alot of play on both side of the numbers don't ya think?

On the other hand, we do have a few big bass "experts". Mattlures, Randall, George Welcome, WRB, paul., RoLo, Fourbizz and Chris Fish are a few prominent examples. 8-) Catching is one thing, but identifying the size of another fish in someone elses picture hasn't been proven, its opinion at best. jmo.

+1, Truth of the matter is, some of the experts haven't proven they are experts either.

I never get in a chest beating match over our Astros or Rangers. They always find away to slide down the standings after the all star break. Been holding my breathe, Rangers are off to good start.
