Top three shows on my list: Lindner's Fishing Edge In-Fisherman North American Fisherman I'm a multispecies fisherman, so I benefit most from these three shows. Great cast members who presents great information. They get to the point and do a great job at walking you through their presentation.

I've been watching the fishing shows today and I guess it must be because I've seen these show one too many times that I've began picking things out in particular shows that are annoyingto me, of course. So, here's my rant on the following shows Fishing University I am no fashion icon, but d**n those Diamond Gusset Jeans are ugly. The poor guest get's put on the spot when asked about the jean he's wearing. Oh they are great and very comfortable yeahuh-huhwhat's he suppose to say? Fishing With Roland Martin every five minutes, he'll be trying to sell you somethingOh SON! Quest For The One I understand that the point of the show is to catch the one, but damnthe guys on the show sounds like a badly scratched CDrepeating the one over and over. OkayI get it alreadyit's THE ONE! Bill Dance Outdoors Fishing the same type of lakes & 98% of the bass he catches looks just like the one he just released. Strike King Pro Team Journal fishing info is okay, but it's more like go out and buy our hot lure. City Limits I haven't seen any new shows, so it's getting boring watching the same shows, so I just turn the channel now. Larry Dahlberg's The Hunt For Big Fish seems very bland. One More Cast With Shaw Grigsby I have never seen anybody get more excited than Shaw when a fish is hookedwell okay, next to Ike of course. Fish TV their musiceh! Some may agree with me, others not so much, but damnI just need to get out of the house!

I was just thinking the exact same thing. I find it rather hard to see that fish finder the way it is installed...you either have to back up or bend down to see it if you're fishing up front on the deck. Great job, sure brings back memories of when I was fixing up my 16 footer...fun time.

What's up with all the knock on mother-in-laws? My mother-in-law treats me like a king. She'll order my wife around to get me food when I'm hungry, get me a pillow when I'm sleepy, actually...both my in-laws do that. ;D

Here in Wisconsin...we did have around lower 40 degrees temp...which was awesome. A lot of the snow was melting away and just recently we got a good 6 - 10 inches dumped on us again. Temps dropped down in the teens again. Oh God...when is this going to end?!

I always net decent fish. The smaller ones, I don't care if they get off at the boat side, but I've lost way too many nice fish next to the boat...too many heart breaks. So, I always have my net on board at all times.

Rick Clunn stated that he takes a video camera and record good looking areas, in that way you'll get the most info in an scouting trip. Once I get my SI unit, I'll do just that and plan a few scouting trips. I think even if I did have rods in my boat...I don't think I'll even touch them once the SI unit is on.

Oh yeah...I knew I was forgetting another one. That one really cracked me and my bro-in-law up really bad when we first saw it.

Maybe it's the cabin fever getting to me, but watching the shows today...the commericals with Bill Dance and the guy with the major backlash and the one with KVD casting into Stacy King's cup of coffee really cracked me up today. ;D

My wife was watching the Classic coverage with me and she asked me why was Mike so crazy when he catches a fish. He's screaming, pumping fists, and spitting all over his boat...LOL. Anyways, she turns to me and asked if I was going to do that this year. I thought about and you know what? I think I might just do that.

Pikes can get big if they're chowing down good on smelt with nobody going after them. I've seen and caught huge pikes up here in Wisconsin. Anyways, pike love fast erratic movements and flashy colors. Spinnerbaits, spoons, and jerkbaits would be my top lures. Pikes are not as good of a surface striker like muskies, doesn't mean you won't catch them, but I've seen pikes go airborne and totally miss a surface lure by 1 - 2 ft.

I did extremely well last season with a roadrunner with the swimming tail grub, also a crappie tube filled with Berkley's crappie nibbles, and Berkley Gulp & Alive 2 1/2 - 3" (Smelt) minnows.

I have the Cumara CUS72M, which works really well for jigging and working light plastics. It feels stiffer mid section on back than most rods and a fast tip, afterall it is a jigging rod, which is good to get a good solid hook set and detecting light bites. It's light, sensitive, and performs great and will be a good choice for your application.

My very 1st King Salmon. Peeled off my 30 lb big game line in a good 100 yard run. Gave me the best fight and when I finally landed that pigmy 30 lb line was so stretched, I had to junk all of it.

So, I was checking out this site and they have some jigs that comes in wide gap hooks. When it comes to jig, does this wide gap hook style have a slight advantage over your regular hooks?

Who out there makes a good football jig? Gonna do alot of jigging this year. I noticed that Booyah and Strike King's got a new one out, but I want to know which brand of football jig is on top of the rest.

Oh man, that gotta suck big time! Is there anything you can do or is it basically your word against theirs now? If I was in your shoes, I would jump all over their arse! Edit: Just noticed you double post your topic.
