redneck, do you think when i come home from college on december break that we could meet up and ill bring my boat and we fish the hot side?

were you dead sticking it on deep structure? and i did read about you fishing in 20 ft or so just wondering what was in that 20 ft to make you fish there i guess.

heck i dont know of many people that can name every state off the top of their head with no paper or anything.

ya ive almost been ran over more then once by those massive cargo ships. One time my engine would not start while catfishing and as my luck would go a cargo ship came around the bend and this part of the river was just wide enough for him to fit. i noticed hey my engine wont start. pulled the cover off and went to work, got the engine fixed with him laying on his horn and only about 200 feet away. I gun the engine and as my luck would once again fail, the anchor line wraps around the prop, thank god i had enough power to run 500 yards where the river widened. spent 40 mins cutting the anchor line off my prop while swimming in 40 feet of water, what a fun day on the james...

ive heard of it but i have never done it. They probably had fun because they probably thought that they were treasure hunting.

I am wondering what is a good set of gloves that i can use for fishing while it is cold outside. I want them to be kind of thin but still a little warm.

I truly believe there are but i dont think they are like what people think. I think most of them are very basic organisms, just like life on earth was near the start of life. Now i also think that there are a few "super civilizations" that are advanced like we are.

Aliens do exist and i do believe that they have been to earth. If you go back and look at ancient religious text alot of the stories sound like aliens could be the gods if you read them knowing what we know today. An example is alot of these texts say that the god figure came from the sky and so on. On top of all that they have found ancient Egyptian hyroclifs showing a space shuttle looking machine with a picture that looks almost exactly like an astronaut in a space suit. Thats alot of proof and thats not even 1% of everything. Dont be so naive to think we are the only life in the universe people. Thats not even including parallel universes lol.

So basically planes can do some things people would not believe. I have see those F-22 do some things that did not even look like it was natural or possible.

You had 30 minutes to stop and take a good picture without shooting through the windshield. I think you been smoking something. My dad wouldn't pull over on I-95. Especially since it was dark. And it was to the west, drivers side, NOT passenger side. And reviewing all my footage (or lack there of to say) I didn't get the mystical disc, but I did happen to get some of two stationary lights right next to each other. I think it's called a plane. : I dont know about Ohio, But here in VA planes dont sit still? Actually bassclary some planes do sit still, When i was a NASA intern i stayed at Langley Airforce Base they would have F-22 tests every tuesday and those jets can sit in one spot with their nose striaght to the sky for minutes at a time. They would do it every time they tested at about 300 feet.

ive been carrying upwards of 4+ of my deep divers latly. Last outing i lost over $50 worth of deep divers in the area i was fishing. After that trip i just bought a lure retriever so hopefully it will help.

check out the garmin etrex series, get one of the higher end models and buy a map pack for it. I used to have one till i dropped it in the james river while catfishing.

mike, try to slow down the retrieve. I think that will help alot. Alot of people that i know sit there and burn cranks all day and i just dont understand it, you have to slow down sometimes.

in cold water ill throw a wide wobble, in pressured or hot water ill thow a tight wobble. my favorite tight wobble which i throw about 80% of the time is a Spro Little john in either the shallow of deep diver version.

try verying your retrieve, there is something about your bait those fish do not like which is making them second think their attack. Also try changing the color slightly. I have never had a problem with setting the hook early. I set the hook very hard on crankbaits and i set it the moment i feel anything different. If you do set the hook hard like me make sure you have a rod that wont rip that hook out.
