Jig Weedguards
super glue works, but i prefer gorrilla glue's 5min epoxy, put that on and hold it in place for 5 mins and then let it dry over night.

Use of a GPS as a back seater?
i completely agree with you. this is the exact point i was trying to make to the people saying that using the gps is fair for a back seater.

Use of a GPS as a back seater?
and for these reasons i dont fish draw tournaments. i just feel that people should find their own spots and not use someone else's spot unless that person found the spot on their own. its kind of like cited works. If you go out and ifnd the same spot i use on your own then i am completely fine with you fishing it whenever you like. you found it the same way i did.

Boat Buying Tips
i just got done buying my second boat and the biggest thing i would have to say is first make sure the engine is good, but second check everything with the hull, stringers, and interior. you do not want to have to replace the stringers or do alot of interior work trust me.

Use of a GPS as a back seater?
this is the exact same way i feel. i spend so many weekends, hours, and dollars to figure out a lake so why should they get to save this info when all they paid was an entry fee.

Wacky or Nose hooked for Dropshot?
you need to learn how to throw everything and know the times when to throw them. dont get into saying your more comfortable throwing one thing and then you throw that say 90% of the time. Learn to throw everything so you can truly key in on a pattern when your on the water.

Starting a Johnson GT 150
push that handle all the way up which should put the boat in fast idle. let it run at about 1500 to 2000 rpm without the prop engaged to get the motor warmed up. after that put the boat in idle and if it shuts off after a few seconds in idle then do the fast idle for another minute.

My boat shakes at low speeds prop maybe?
go get your prop repaired and make sure its not cupping the water(i dont know what word to use) like make sure its not making huge air bubbles down by the prop. if it is then def get that prop repaired.

Starting a Johnson GT 150
will it turn over and wont fire? or does it litterly do nothing what so ever. if it wont do anything check the wiring to the ignition switch. i just got done putting in a new ignition switch. if it will turn over then check the spark plugs, fuel lines. if that doesnt fix your problem then id go see if a mechanic could take a quick look at it.

Use of a GPS as a back seater?
if you understood the money in gas and the time i spend finding my spots then you would see why i do not like co anglers have gps. how would you feel if in school you worked for 20+ hours on an assignment and then another kid just took it and turned it in with his name. Its called cheating.

i do not usually like my backseater to have a gps unless they are a good friend that i can trust. If the person does have a gps, i will never take them to area i know work well.

Basicly as the title says at what water temp do you feel the fish start moving from the shallows of fall to the depths of winter.
