  1. ya i just built one, it works ok, just make sure you can balance.
  2. its a z-4 on the case, but is this fish finder any good? i got it with a used boat i purchased and am not even sure if it works.
  3. ya you are barly over the hp limit so you should be fine to just change the hp rating, i have a 115 hp on my 17 foot that i just got.
  4. i will be going to virginia tech next year which is 1 hour from the lake so i have done alot of research on what works there. from my reading and studying shakeyhead seems to be one of the best lures to throw out there.
  5. i have heard that the coast guard can give you a good size fine if they catch you going over what the boat is meant to have.
  6. i dont know, i just picked my roster though but idk where the bassresource group is.
  7. does bassresource have a group for the espn fantasy fishing?
  8. idk, i just picked my roster but i would love to know if there was a bassresource group also.
  9. honestly its not the weight that will kill you, put it this way, goto the gym and try and lift 113lbs when it is 14 feet away from you body, the boat is to wide for you to lift from the middle.and not to mention you will most likly tear your vans roof up if you try this by yourself. your gonna need another person to help you i guarentee it. btw for my age im the virginia power lifting champ and i have a hard time lifting that weight in the truck lol.
  10. i would not mix them, but some worms will do fine with others, but then you have others that will get destroyed such as strike king 3x.
  11. i hope you have someone helping you lift it up there, i can barly put my 12 ft jon boat in the back of the truck. but for securing it to the roof, get some of those rachet clamp down things and loop them through the windows and then over the jon boat and make sure they are very very tight so the boat does not move forward or backwards, if you do that through the font and rear windows you should be good.
  12. also, is this fish finder a good one or a cheap one if someone figures out what model it is.
  13. today i bought a boat and this lowrance fish finder was mounted on the dash but i cannot figure out what model it is.
  14. i run my 45# trolling motor and garmin fish finder both on 1 12v battery and it works fine. i have never had a single problem running both on the same battery.
  15. ya im flipping between vs and the outdoor channel which is having some fishing shows on atm also since im not tired yet.
  16. i believe in 2001 kevin van dam went i want to say 90+ miles from the start when he won.
  17. i feel that you should fish for fun. if i get noticed and some guy offers me a sponsorship then good for me, but im not going to go around asking for them.
  18. The show needs to be entertaining, must have good information and must engage the watcher.
  19. just make your own mold lol, thats what i did, i made a 3 senko mold so i could pour 3 senkos at one time. just buy 2 jugs of plaster of paris mold stuff. then buy some cheap alluminum cooking pans. put about .5 inch plaster of paris and let it set up slightly, then lay 3 senkos in it and push the senkos half way into the plaster of paris. wait a day for teh stuff to dry and then pour a top layer over the senkos and let that dry for a day and woolah you now have a perfect 2 part mold if you made it right. all you need to do now is drill out the pour holes and air escape holes in the bottem. hope that helped. but its a cheap way to make you own mold for under $10.00.
  20. i would use a jig or a senko, for colors i would use dark green and black
  21. honestly i like my *** spinnerbaits and also booyah makes a good spinnerbait.
  22. well tbh, 2-7 pounds where i live is a very good bass, and a 14 lb bass is unheard of, but tbh i just like to go out and have a good day catch some big ones and small ones.
  23. i just went today and picked up 2 spinnerbaits with the big thumping single colorado blade. so thanks for the advice.
  24. you can get some rod straps like the guy above said for like $20.00 or less at bps or any other fishing store most likly.
