  3. for you crankbait setup, i would check out the shimano calais. ive been very happy with mine which is what i have on my cranking setup.
  4. i just stopped using the pork trailers due to the fact that they are so hard whenever i went to hook them up i would get the hook in my finger just about everytime. maybe im doing something wrong but i dont reallly like the product so ill go back to plastic.

  14. g.loomis is owned by shimano... been that way for over 10 years now. and a shimano rep told me that when i called customer service.
  15. also just wanted to say that a cumara is almost exactly the same as a imx loomis, the sales rep told me that the cumara has 54,000,000 modulus in the rods and the imx has 55,000,000 modulus so he said that they are almost the exact same.

  18. is chesterfield central VA?
  19. i use a crankbait kind of like a spinnerbait, i use them both to scout water and try to find bass. once i find the bass i will usually switch to a finese base technique. but you can also fish shallow diving cranks around cover. and for crankbait models, i love strike king and for color i like the sexy shad color alot. for depth i use shallow diving cranks most of the time, anywhere from 5 ft to .5 feet. hope this helps some.
  20. i just bought a cumara cus72M and ive been very happy with it, i use it for texas rigged senkos and shakeyhead.
  21. also buy a pack of the megastrike shakey2 shakeyheads. and for the worms get strike king 3x finese worms.
  22. i use a shimano cumara(Cus72M) with a shimano sehara 2500 spinning reel. and i put #12 bass pro flurocarbon on it and this setup is amazing.
  23. i use sufix titanium #17 for my crankbait setup and ive been fairly happy with it considering i got like 1,500 yards for $10.00 lol.
  24. Hey, welcome to bass resource. I live about 15 mins south of richmond.
