  4. i only buy bulk braid since it doesnt go bad, floro and mono can go bad over time.
  5. kicked me also so i dont know if it took mine or not.
  6. i dont like being wrong lol
  7. i like chrome, im on it right now and it hasnt caused any harm to my computer
  8. thats great and all but i would personally like to know that my boat is safe and not a death trap. but thats a personal choice and i guess not everyone agrees.
  9. very impressive and ballsy to fish a deep diver from the shore. every time ive tried that its snagged in about 3 seconds.
  10. why do you need warm weather to fish? i plan on breaking in my new lower unit this weekend then fishing every other weekend on SML probably. If there is no ice then fish whenever you feel like it even if its cold out.
  11. im a huge gordan fan and that makes me mad to see that he could have won 2 times more than he has. I hope he gets a win this season.
  12. ill compete, but can we have multiple entries? like if i catch a bigger fish than what im about to post.
  13. the 2 grand is to make sure you dont die... engine check, fixing anything in the engine, making sure bilge pumps work, safety gear, flares, spare tire, good batteries, it all adds up and from my experience on a few different boats its usually around 2 grand to be fairly sure that its safe.
  14. your trying to go cheap but in my honest opinion this is the setup that you need to go with a high end sensitive rod. I love sensitivity in my spinning rods.
  15. looks great, but i bet the price tag doesnt look great.
  16. your acting like ive never fished a tourny. i dont need to reorganize my tackle because i do it on the boat and it does not take any time. And your only losing about 1 hour which 1 hour of sleep shouldnt hurt you, it doesnt hurt me.
  17. good advice, even if you think it is tourny ready, you should be ready to drop another 2 grand to truly get it tourny ready. im telling you this from experience.
  18. Bingo! That's why a lot of pros stay at campsites. The theft occurred at one of the hotels, outside of town. Big lake, big event, nearly 200 boats, spread out through hotels/motels all around the city. These guys were in and out of the parking lot in 40 minutes. The hotel had camera surveilllance in place, as do many others. It can happen anywhere, the thieves aren't amateurs, came with power tools, probably the battery operated type. The detectives have been checking Craigs List, local flea markets, and pawn shops. I'd bet they already had buyers for the stuff, targeting the wrapped boats and those nearby. I bet it can happen anywhere, even the Classic. You cant stay 45 min to an hour outside of town? is waking up a little earlier that hard?
  19. its def not 36 volt, and ive never seen a 50lb 24 volt motor, either way you would be in trouble if heavy winds hit.
  20. def go with a 24 volt system, i know that i ran my edge 65lb thrust for 8 hours on the fastest speed and it didnt die which i thought was amazing.
  21. a 17ft nitro, i got blown around with a 65lb and ended up having to goto a back area to get out of the wind and lost the tourny due to the fact i couldnt fish my main lake stuff i had found.
  22. stick jackets are what i use and they have never let me down.
  23. what size trolling motor? if its anything under 65lb then i would recommend getting a bigger one. i figured this out at a tournament a few months ago.
