  1. So far I'm back to normal.... Well, normal on the browser side of things... heh heh
  2. From everything I've read, there will NOT be a Tatula spinning reel. But I don't think any of it was "official", just hear-say, but from people "in the know"...
  3. Soft plastics. 1) Wacky 2) TX 3) mojo.
  4. Hmmm. Maybe a different perspective, as I've caught all my big bass on soft plastics. 1) Senko + off-brand 2) Zoom Trick Worm 3) Zoom Finesse Worm
  5. If a girl, anything with Dance would work.
  6. Of what I've tried, XPS fluorocarbon. I've yet to try Sunline and Tatsu. But not sure I'll ever get there as I find coated/infused fluoro+copoly lines P-Line Floroclear and Yo-Zuri Hybrid more than capable in most every situation. And I'm talking leader material here, not mainline (braid for me). FWIW.
  7. Hey, it's great protein! (the roach-infested egg roll, that is)
  8. I always liked the looks of the Quantum spinning reels. On occasion I pick them up at BPS to "play" with them. They've got a solid feel to my hands. But what I end up buying are Shimano and Daiwa reels....
  9. No doubt. Invasive species with just about every mammal on its food radar.
  10. Indeed. Could hardly believe it the first time I read about it.
  11. Probably enough to open a cowboy boot store!
  12. Doesn't bother me at all.
  13. I hear ya. But the problem is real, and awful in parts of the world. It is a way to bring attention/awareness to the awful, inhumane act.
  14. Interesting study in The Seminole Newspaper mentions this result of a study:
  15. I have a couple times, but more out of sheer relief I got the bass in. Normally when I have done that only a kayak fishing buddy is near me, I don't do it when others are nearby.
  16. No "ed", eh?! LOL. Gotta love it. Or not...
  17. Congrats on the reel. I felt the same way when I got my first Shimano bait caster last summer, the Chronarch 50e. Love my Daiwas, too, though
  18. Welcome aboard!
  19. Welcome aboard!
  20. Good point, and I forgot to mention that we use them in salt water mostly (for live bait presentations).
  21. Yeah, that'd be a reason to carry in Florida. Not many would be able to fend off a python like this if it latched hold of a leg. Recurved teeth on a beast like that would be rather...painful. Love snakes myself, as I said above, I'm a hunter/collector, but non-venomous varieties.
