Got out to Swains Lake in Barrington yesterday, no bass, but I caught 2 yellow perch on a 3/4 oz lipless crank. Went out to Purgatory Pond today with eloo, he caught a decent sized pickerel, and I had one that came off near the boat that I'm pretty sure was a pickerel too. Weather doesn't look like it's gonna hold up tomorrow though, so I'll have to find something else to do.

Anyone fish at Swains Lake in Barrington? I have reserve drill in Portsmouth this weekend and I was thinking about hitting that place on Saturday afternoon.

Went out to Turee Pond today, fished for about 7 hours. Caught nothing for the first 5 hours, then caught a 2lb LMB and a small pickerel on a carolina rig.

I have 2 of the 40 size ones and they work great

Hit Crooked Pond in Loudon and Turee pond in Bow today. Didn't catch anything at crooked, but caught a 1 1/3 lb LMB at Turee on a black and blue power lizard on a c-rig. First bass this year for me in limited fishing time.

Just look on google maps for lakes around where you live, then see if there are depth maps on your state's fish and game website. I do it all the time, and I've found a few ponds that I plan on fishing a lot this year.

Yeah, I just picked up a Revo S/Carbonlite combo and I love it so far.

When I got back into fishing last year after not doing it for like 12 years, I bought a spinning reel and a casting rod. Didn't work out too well, had to go back to the store the next day and buy a spinning rod to go with the reel.

It's my day off, but I have some stuff to do in the morning if I can drag my butt out of bed. Any time from the late morning on is when I plan on fishing.

I got an email from basspro talking about their 6 pay deal. I ended up dropping $240 on a Revo S/Carbonlite combo, some hooks and a spool of line.

I picked up a Berkley bag at Cabela's for $15, it holds 4 360 boxes. I have one of the boxes full of terminal tackle, one with topwater and jerkbaits, one with cranks and swimbaits, and one with jigs. I also carry a soft plastic binder stuffed as full as I can get it. All that and 2 or 3 combos depending on where I'm fishing.

I've been out to horseshoe pond and the merrimack by the tech a few times and haven't caught a thing. I've only had a few short outings though. I think once I have some more time, I'll start catching them.

I'm an LPN in the Army Reserve, Sunday will be 7 years exactly. I've been to Iraq once.

I drove down to a pond I like to fish today because it's been warm the last couple of days and there was a big area of open water, so I'm definitely gonna hit that up tomorrow.
