Not sure if this is too late, but I went down the Saco last weekend and there was someone saying that they had caught a big bass.

They have some seat backs for canoes at Dick's Sporting Goods, at least the one where I live. They cost like $30 I believe.

A buddy of mine got PRK done before his deployment, but it took a long time before his vision was back to normal (weeks). He was going to get lasik surgery, but lasik can come undone from a blow to the head. The PRK procedure was painful and had a longer recovery time, but is less likely to come undone. I'm not an ophthamologist, but I hope that helps.

I hit up Freese's Pond in Deerfield and Horseshoe Pond in Concord this afternoon. I struck out at Freese's, but managed to land 2 at Horseshoe on a t-rigged baby brush hog. I also hooked a snapping turtle that was probably about 15 inches long. I got it in as close as I could and cut the line as I would like to retian all of my fingers.

I won't be able to make it on 5/7. I have the weekend off from work, but I have military duty that weekend.

I feel the same way, I worked 1st shift yesterday instead of 2nd, so I had the afternoon off. It was beautiful outside, but the wind was blowing at like 15 or 20mph. I fished for like 20 minutes before I said to hell with it and went home.

My wife's uncle my be able to attend, and he has a boat, so I may not need a seat. I will update you guys when I find out if he'll be able to make it.

She earned it with her poor bedside manner. As a nurse myself, I know to never take it out on the patient if you're having a bad day. Saying that, I personally would've been laughing as hard as you, if not harder.

I believe Turkey Pond just has one cartop launch site. Also, the last time I was there (almost 2 years ago), there was a ton of milfoil.

I bought the first one at a book store, read it front to back that night, and as soon as I finished it, I went on Amazon and bought the 2nd and 3rd books. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series.

I picked up a few bags of the 4" Kut Tail worms for $1.50/pack a few weeks ago from that site. I've also gotten some good deals on various other things there.

Anyone going out this weekend that's looking for a partner? My wife's working all weekend so I have nothing to do.

I use zoom and powerbait mostly. I just bought about 20 packs of powerbait lizards from thehookuptackle.com for a buck each, so I'll be using those a lot more this year probably.

I went last year, and it seemed like there was a fair amount of saltwater vendors, but it was mostly freshwater, bass especially.

Season with garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook 6 to 8 hours on Low setting. 2.About 3 to 4 hours before you want to eat, shred the chicken with 2 forks. Return the meat to the pot, and continue cooking. 3.Stir the corn and the pinto beans into the slow cooker. Simmer until ready to serve. Personally, I substitute kidney beans for the pinto beans, but that's just me. I also like to throw in a can or 2 of green chilis.
