  1. Tackle warehouse has reloaded their bargain bins. Lots of good stuff in there right now.
  2. They sucked when they first came out. The tips rolled all the time and the eyelets weren’t fused shut. They’re great now - at least for me. Been using them for awhile and don’t have a problem. They do cut up plastics more so than other hooks out there but that’s my only complaint now.
  3. I tried their redline straight shank flipping hooks and wasn’t impressed at all. Bend one out right away setting the hook. I haven’t found a better flipper than Trokars.
  4. I’m still seeing it on the site. The discount shows when u add a rod to the cart.
  5. I treat ppl how I want to be treated. If I’m fishing a tournament, I’ll ask to fish an area if I have a waypoint or something and someone is already on it, competitor or not (I’m talking general areas - I’m not asking to fish on top of them). If it’s a no, I’ll move on - no harm no foul. I just expect the same treatment.
  6. I’ve ordered from them and had no issues!
  7. 30% off all rods at Sportsman’s Guide. https://www.sportsmansguide.com
  8. The Spro will always be my go to but that Toad Thumper is awfully good too.
  9. Scott said outright in a FB post that he talked to the guy about water conditions in surrounding waters near this upcoming Elite event. He said he gave him waypoints on KY lake in exchange. He also said that he didn’t even know the guy! Sounds like trading info to me. Why would he talk to someone he doesn’t know, like he did, if it were not to get info?? Let’s be clear, I’m not singling SM out because they pretty much all do it.
  10. This is so spot on. Don’t you guys remember when BASS fished the Pee Dee River down in SC for the first time? A huge delta system where guys were running thru intercoastal water to get to a specific part of a river that wasn’t anywhere near the take off??? A whole bunch of competitors where in the same area…Duckett fishing right on top of Jocumsen…Now how in the hell did they all know to go 100 miles away from the take off to a different river? The same deal with the Sabine and Mike Mclelland driving to a tiny canal in Houston to catch’em. All these boys are getting (or have gotten) info on these bodies of water. You ain’t finding sh$t on a giant body of water in 3 days of practice. If you do, you may as well play the lottery cuz you dang lucky.
  11. Just realized that the Legend Xtreme for 40% off at Tackle Direct comes with a $100 gift card….talk me down from the ledge, gentlemen!
  12. Tackle Direct has a bunch of nice rods and reels in their clearance canyon page. 40% off St Croix and Daiwa. Some gems in there so get after it quick fellas!
  13. My main color for early spring in NNY.
  14. Kistler chromium reels are $59.99.
  15. Midway has some killer deals on some fishing clothes. The mystery rod deal is intriguing as well…waiting for someone to take the gamble and share their experience! https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1026794050?pid=283696 https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1023980797?pid=965805 https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1026267861?pid=316714 https://www.midwayusa.com/product/102431233?pid=930004 https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1027477812?pid=630557
  16. Isn't it Region 6?? I'm from Jeff Co. and that's the nonsense I've dealt with.
  17. So so sorry to hear this. I have no words but hope you and your family can find some light through this darkness.
  18. Thanks for the heads up! Just ordered 2!

I took a chance and picked them up. VERY pleased with the overall fit and materials. The stretch cordura is awesome. They're a little strange to get into (one buckle and a side zip) but overall super nice. They might be a little warm for summer but I can deal.
  20. Thanks for all the info, guys. Good to know that they have that same small trigger like the Levantes. That drives me nuts about mine.
  21. Thanks for the replies, gents!
  22. I’m tempted by the Megabass Orochis now that they’re sub $200 but I’ve read quite a few bad reviews. Do they really break that easily?
  23. Haven’t had the greatest experiences with 13 reels but this seems like an ok deal. https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/13-fishing-concept-z-slide-baitcast-reel?ds_e=GOOGLE&ds_c=Cabelas|Shopping|PMax|Fishing|General|NAud|NVol|NMT&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAj9m7BhD1ARIsANsIIvBxWyp7RGfWdnKscItZBue35ktgC6Gr4ElPLZxzCobZAsm60-M2fAwaAuBYEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
  24. Best largie baits are (and will always be) a 3/4 & 1/2 jig (rage craw, chigger craw, or big salty chunk), 1/2 jackhammer, and spro bronzeye 65. Fished 2 tourneys in 2024 and won both with those baits (except one lonely biggun on a drop shot robo worm). Since I only fish smallies in the early spring or late fall now, my most productive baits were a 1/2 blade bait in gold and a 3.3 Keitech fat on a 3/16 oz head.

Anyone have experience with these? They seem pretty legit and are pretty cheap right now. Just can’t find much info on them.
