  11. im in a high school club down here.... probably your best bet is to find a tournament director to start a high school club and get him to to find yall some sponsors and stuff like that man.....
  12. The hack attack jig is probably my favorite jig to flip... its better balanced than most other jigs... if the water is deeper than 10ft fo with th 1/2 ounce.. less than 10 go with a 3/8 ounce... u can usually get away with the lighter jig if the wind aint blowin to bad..
  13. anybody familiar with the revo s? all i have is shimanos but i threw my buddys yesterday and it was smooth... plus there only 130. im thinkin about getting a few and trying em out
  14. get the citica man. its not gonna be a good rof for carolina riggin unless ur using a 7' rod. its good on a 6'6" or 6'8"
  15. get the skeet reese flippin stick. its gotta great action and its not too stout. as far as a pup wood stick get the team all star 7'6" 15 to 30 and its a good big jig rod as well.
  16. I know that duckett didn't like the carrot stick rods cuz of the rof blanks and now hes goin to an off the wall rod blank? O well he should've went to gloomis lol.
  17. I bought a fenwick etech the other day. On the rod it says 7'2" strokin special. I got it on discount. What is the specific technique of this rod? They do not have this rod anymore on there website the cashire told me they went to a newwer style after this rod. Thanks fer the info
  18. If your looking for the sho nuff pup wood stick, the senko toad rod is a little stiffer with a light tip. My partner has that rod and complains about it being to stiff. I got the flippin rod wich is great and i got the jerkbait rod. The jerkbait rod is whimpy but thats what i bought it for.
  19. I'm looking for a good rod for throwing big deepwater jigs and heavy texas rigs. Whats a good stout rod that i could use. This will be the last rod of my countless collection for now lol. I would like to keep it about 7'
  20. man if you can get a gloomis at a reasonable price jump on it.
  21. Skeet Reese flippin pithchin rod or vendetta 7'6 h and a shimano castaic on top of em.
  22. I use a 6'6" fiberglass rod for my shallow cranks. Its a David Frits signiture rod from american rodsmiths. check it out
  23. Well to me flippin is a clear water presentation cuz your bait doesnt hammer the water when it enters. But i do flip in any water conditions and in the clear water you wanna try to get as far away as possible from the cover but still makin an accurate flip. Thats when the longer rods help me. And in muddier water you can get ;)away with getting a little close. Thats when you need a 7 or 7'3" in my opinion.
  24. Anyone tried em. They'll probably be my next rod if there any good.
  25. Yesterday i broke a falcon original 7H carolina rig rod. I went to chunk a carolina rig and about 6 inches snapped off. It broke right past the second eye from the top. Can falcon replace the rod for me or am i gonna have to buy a new rod?
