  1. Well to tell u the truth i ain't never used them revos i like my shimano's. i got a curado i use for flipping jigs and it woks great. i also got one with braid on it specifically for frogs but it ain't the 200e
  2. I got some falcons but ain"t had no problems. U sad u bout some IMX's so just replace them falcons with GLOOMIS
  3. Well they sure ain't no gloomis or nothing but for a hundred dollars i like em better than my falcon originals. i have heard that they're heavy and the only one heavy to me is that senko rod and it feels heavier than the flippin rod
  4. I buy rods that hold up. GLOOMIS
  5. wats wrong with the skeet reese rods I've got three and like em. one bein the senko toad rod but is something wrong with them?? :-?
  6. i've heard good things about both but i've got falcons and shimano rods just not the kind your talkin bout. personally i dont like shimano rods cuz i've had one break on me but i replace it and its held up. I like my falcons they satisfy me. rod brands are just ones opinion get whatever one you like
  7. Dang i thought them rods were pretty good. are they graphite mix or what
  8. man just go ahead and get them GLOOMIS crankbait rods lol ;D. naw but american rodsmiths makes a david friths crankin series. i got the 6'6" and as far as light an accuracy its pretty good. as far as deep cranks i like my falcon 7 mh
  9. soooo is them kistler rods any good?? i've heard good about em
  10. well i gotta 7 mh falcon original and its made for deep crankin but i use it fer t-riggin and flippin small creature baits with a 1/4 ounce weight. great rod. academy has em rite now fer 69$ and there normally 89$
  11. well i like the vicious mono. i'm currently lookin fer a good flourocarbon in fact i started a topic today about it
  12. Imma shimano and gloomis rod man. i think i counted up 14 combos the other day. course i only got 1 gloomis but i'm trying to replace all mine with gloomis. i gotta buncha falcons. Worm/jig/deep crank: citica falcon original 7mh carolina rig: curado/falcon orig 7 h Crnk: citica/ david fritts rod 6'6" spinerbait: citica/fenwick etech 7'2" m big worm/tube: curado/ gloomis 7 h these are the ones i use most
  13. I'm thinking about getting the skeet reese flipping rod. i got the jerkbait rod. i've gotta shimano castaic to put on the flippin rod. anybody got it yet?? if so tell me wat u think.
  14. well i've used the bps brand and trilene and thats the ones i hate. sooo this seagur stuff must be pretty good eh?? :-?
  15. I've tried a few flourocarbon brands. i haven't really found one i like. any suggestions??
  16. well man i dont see why you would pay 400 dollors for the core when you can get the curado for half that much. one of there curado is a 5.0 gear ratio wich is perfect for deep crankin. as far as spinerbaits i have the 7.0 that i throw spinerbaits with. pretty soon i've been sayin that i wanna get the 5.0 to put on my deep crank rod
  17. Well man reels are just all anyones opinion. And you can see that i am a shimano fisherman. but i got a few curado and i really like em. i have fished with a pluger president before and let me tell u it was a fine reel. and the patriarc is probably better than th pres. but i recomend the curado. the thing about it it comes with 2 sets of brakes so you can adjust to watever u wanna throw.
  18. well man i bought the jerkbait rod earlier this month. i really like it. i mainly bought it to throw a drop shot or finese tackle and it didnt take me long to decide that i made a good choice. after reading th other reviews i really wanna go buy the flipping rod now
