I'm looking to purchase a spincasting reel for my 4.5 old son, who also happens to be left-handed. I have been checking out a Zebco Authentic or a Daiwa Silvercast. Does anyone have any experience with either reel? I'm also open to other suggestions. Thanks

All, My friends and I take an annual trip to a different MI lake in search of bass, LM or SM, and pike/muskie fishing, with the option (not mine) of catching the occasional panfish. We would like to start planning our trip to our next destination, but we're having a little difficulty identifying a lake. Would anyone like to throw out some options we could further look into? In the past, we have been to these lakes: Lake Hamlin, Lakes Cadillac/Mitchell, Houghton, and Fletcher Pond. Likely looking for the late August/early September time frame. One of my friends has suggested Lake St Helen, has anyone fished this lake before? Any feedback appreciated. Thanks!
