  1. The tackle trap has all colors in stock except for STP, for anyone looking.
  2. I have the 150, 170 and 255. I have had mixed success with them. Lots of follows on the 255 but no catches yet (I’m in the northeast). How do you typically fish them if you don’t mind sharing?
  3. Those were the two colors I got as well - Kasumi Ito and mat shad. Both are my favorite colors in the plus 1 junior. Circled back around later and grabbed deadly black shad and the albino pearl. Interesting on the baby kingyo - I’m a Megabass fanboy but don’t have any of this color currently. Seems they are putting it out in more and more baits. More of a smallmouth color for you or both LM and SM?
  4. What colors? I bet Kasumi Ito is one
  5. Those are the saltwater versions (different bait as far as I know)
  6. Nothing as of now as far as I know. Guessing they will offer one if it sells as good as the original. I bought Kasumi Ito and mat shad this morning. Was trying to limit myself until I see how it works but couldn’t help myself and circled back this afternoon to buy deadly black shad and albino pearl.
  7. What colors were you trying for? There’s a few other online retailers with them still in stock.
  8. Must be a disinformation campaign…
  9. It’s amazing for a tiny Klash I would definitely get one and fish it if you don’t have one. I primarily just throw glidebaits and wakebaits on mine. I’ve done some magnum cranks on mine too. I will also be attempting the pd chopper on it this year - it should have enough backbone for it.
  10. What are the chances the Karashi 80 is as good of a fish catcher as the original? Also, the original is fun but I’ve only ever caught dinks on it. Has anyone caught a fish over 4lbs on the original Karashi?
  11. What are you planning to throw on it
  12. You will love the Mark 56. One of my favorite rods to fish.
  13. I probably won’t be able to get it out for at least another 3-4 weeks due to ice being on my lakes currently but I did throw a reel on it and tie off to my coffee table to test the bend/taper. I really like the grip - pointer finger rests on the blank when you hold it above the reel stem. The rod does feel slightly heavier in weight compared to other top of the line options but I knew that going in. The taper and power is exactly what I was hoping for. It has good power when you get into the backbone but a regular fast action in the tip which should be very versatile. I think it will be excellent for small swimbaits on ballheads and weighted wacky rigs. It might be a little on the heavy side for Ned and Neko rigging but I think it should do fine for larger Neko presentations.
  14. This winter I decided I needed a bunch of PD Chopper jigs after they’ve been out of stock for a year. Had to get some 5” spark shad to go with. Curiousity got the best of me on some Megabass stuff, namely got my first X10 rod (Jade Python) a few days ago and grabbed a bunch of the IXI Blowly cranks to try. Also picked up a good bunch of the new OSP blitz max plus and a few of the new raid SKM flatsides. Almost ready for the season, I’ll probably grab one or two of the new bigger Karashi when it comes out other than that should be done with winter purchases.
  15. For Texas rigging the drop shot, I like a straight shank hook specifically the owner cover shot or roboworm rebarb hook if you’re using ultra light line. I nose hook more often than not if I can get away with it since it seems to get more bites due to the worm having more action / looking more natural. On the neko it sounds like you’re hooking it correctly. If it’s not just a one or two fish thing and continues to happen then next thing I’d look into is your rod and line setup.
  16. How are you rigging the hook on the neko? There is a right and wrong way to do it. Potentially could be an issue. For drop shot similar question - are you nose hooking or Texas rigging? I usually just reel down and pull into them for both techniques.
  17. I don’t understand why someone hasn’t reproduced the old Falcon fto jerkbait boxes. They were the best and cheapest option. I think Plano bought the patent but they never brought back the jerkbait boxes. The Shimano ones were ok and now Daiwa offers a similar box.
  18. How was it casting the ned rig? I’ve heard mixed opinions on how it does casting the lower end of the rod rating.
  19. Did you get the rod yet? I decided I need one and put through an order today so will try to post feedback when I get it and more ideally when I get it out on the water.
  20. I called and they honored my gift card from ALF. Seem like stand up guys. I used the credit to buy a new rod, hope it all goes smoothly.
  21. Throw more jerkbaits and crankbaits than lipless but jackal tn70 or LC LV500. Ghost Minnow and craw colors.
  22. Thank you. Hopefully others add their experience as well. Let’s see if I can even hold off on purchasing until then
  23. Can you let me know what you think of it when you get it in and when you get it out on the water? I’m in the northeast and currently under ice.
  24. I picked up their new flat side crank the skm. They built it to be a cross between a shad plug and flat side crank. I fish a lot of pressured lakes and ponds where I think it could excel.
