Where was the scorpion $199? Everywhere I looked it was $199+$25 shipping. I personally found a couple of the xts used and they are awesome at a fraction of the price. I also have 2 mg's but still prefer the xt's. I also like the 1500 & 1501s, but since I bought my Antares they dont get used.

I found the cheapest chronarch 50e at $180 and the cheapest scorpion 1000 xt at $225. The scorpion is at 6.7 ozs and the chronarch at 7.1. Those are new prices.

My dad owned a boat and we would go striper fishing from the time I was 2 until a teenager. then we went on a charter boat when I was around 17, I got so sick! I puked in the galley, I puked over the edge, I puked on the deck, i puked for the entire time we were on the water. It was one of those few times where your thinking dying might be better. Next year came around and I thought it was an isolated incident, we went out on another charter, needless to say it wasnt an isolated incident. I went out 3 years ago with my wife, I took some dramamine before hand. I didnt puke, but felt nauseous the whole time, as well as tired from the dramamine.

I've seen the reels and lures as well. I did buy some of the lures, they are garbage, at least the ones I bought. Bills break off, bodies broke in half, and thats not with any hard use. The reels have a very cool look to them, but I would be hesitant.

The xt I have is the blue/metallic one, I think they put it out 2 years ago, only for that year. If I remember, my 64wlp is around 8oz, and the xt is 2 ozs lighter.

get a patriarch xt. Ive had both, the xt is far superior, in my opinion.
