  3. Charlie lives in the next town over from me, about 15 miles, and I know people that know him and have dealt with him, an ex of mine was friends with his wife as well. I gather from them that he has his over the top tv personality and his normal guy personality. I hear he's really just a farting, swearing guy that loves to fish, like us, but he makes money from being a loudmouth on tv, so he pushes that envelope to keep his career going.
  4. X2 the squirrel tail as well as the robo straight tails.
  5. No pasteurization or homogenization.
  6. Not a car story, but still annoying. A couple years ago my wife and I heard scratching noises in our bedroom ceiling, and scurrying about, especially late at night. We have vaulted ceilings, and only a perimeter crawl space as access. After a couple of nights, I got the sack to open the crawl space and have a look. I open the mini door, peek my head around the corner, and I am looking at a huge raccoon, needless to say I back my skid stained self out of there quick like. Next day I call pest control, they come out, and tell us we have a mama and babies living up there, and mama is the scurrying we hear, the babies are the scratching. He traps the mama the first night, then cuts a couple of holes in our ceiling to find the nesting babies, and pulls out 4 babies, and literally they were right over our headboard. here is a picture the pest control guy had me take as he was pulling the babies out of the ceiling. http://www.jpwildlif...s-control.shtml its the second picture, at the bottom of the page.
  7. Nice! We work with a couple local farms, and my family eats and drinks primarily farm raised foods, including raw milk.

  9. Those freakin power worms will catch anything!
  10. We have had a couple of threads here about shaving and extending the life of your blades. I have been on the lookout for a couple of years on how to best do just that, extend the life of my razors. I usually get 3, maybe 4 good shaves before the blades start to hurt my face. I use a triple blade, disposable razor, not a cheapo, but not the best either. I have found the answer, at least for myself. I have now shaved with the same blade for over 3 months, thats around 50 shaves, and it is still smooth and close, not a nick to be seen on my face. I do the jeans trick he talks about, then I store it in a cup of rubbing alcohol to keep it from rusting. Check out the video and give it a try, and be dilligent, I'm sure it will work. http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-extend-the-life-of-your-Razor-Blade-keeping/
  11. Frank Zappa, by far the best guitarist, ever.
  12. I would guess, in no particular order, Bagley, because of the eyes, or Luhr jensen or wordens, because of the lip.
  13. Ya big dummy!

  16. There is one thing I like about soccer, the MOMs.
  17. The best way to remove the b*st*rd is to get tweezers, and pull straight out, grabbing as close to the skin as possible, so as not to pop or crush the body. Pull slowly, and pull straight up, dont twist and turn the body, you will break the tick. Putting tape or vaseline on the tick allows the tick to spit the fluid from his stomach into you, not good, and burning him allows for the same thing. You want to pull him out because that does not allow the fluid to leave him and enter you, the fluid is what contains the yummy lyme and other diseases. After you pull it out, then you can smother it, burn it or whatever devious methods you might think up to torture and kill it. Your best bet is to keep it in a bag, so if you do think you might have something, the doctor can test the tick right away and save you from weeks of antibiotics. Just had one on my asscheek yesterday, but I have had them on my back, chest, legs and 2, on separate occasions, on my ballb*g, talk about panic time.
  18. start smaller to err on the side of caution, you can always go a little bigger.
  19. lavender and geranium oils mixed together make just as an effective repellant as off, and is not poison like off is either. Ticks, as well as mosquitos and black flies, hate the smell and taste of both of those oils, and together they make a potent repellant. Your skin is your biggest organ, so if your spraying poison on it, you might as well be drinking it.
  20. Is that technique similar to catch and release?
  21. The straight eye is the jdm version, and is supposed to float parallel to the surface. Did yours have the stock hooks on it still? When replacing the hooks you need to use the vision hooks to weight the bait properly.
  22. Is it from Mexico or Canada? Does it rhyme with Dball?
  23. That's what I was thinking. "Justice, could you give me a lapdance?" It has a ring to it.
  24. They are just that, accusations. Probably never to be proven, and they don't really make sense either.
