The latest report I heard was that his nerve is not healed enough for him to throw well enough. The nerve might only get to 80% of what it once was, so is 80% of Peyton good enough? Does he want to play at that level? I also heard that he will not risk further injury, as the vertabrae itself has healed, it's the nerve that might not heal, so taking a hit wouldn't be a risk.

I would love to help out, I don't think I'm qualified being so far away, but I am willing to do whatever I can to pitch in. As far as meeting this winter, Saturdays wold be best for me, and I am also a non boater, so i would need to hop in with someone when the time comes.

I think both Irsay and Manning are setting up the fans for what is about to happen, Peyton leaving. I think Manning will play again, and he being able to choose, will play for a team that just needs a qb to contend. Arizona, Washington are 2 of the favorites that come to mind. I'm not a Peyton fan, but it stinks when something like this happens, like Montana leaving frisco. i hope Brady stays in NE til he retires, I think Kraft will make sure he does, truly a great owner.
