Archie Griffin won 2 of them. Archie who?

The problem is the team he's on and the fact that Elway is his boss. Elway was a prototypical "quarterback", and he has a vision of what he thinks the position is, and what he wants at that position, and Tebow isn't that guy. Tebow has a lot going for him, he has great football skills, and can handle all of the BS and pressure put on him. If, and a big if, he can develop into a more NFL style QB, he will have a long and productive career, and if he stays with the way he plays now, he will most likely flame out in a couple of years. I say this because there is precedent as to what his style is, see Randall Cunningham, Mike Vick, early Steve Young, Bobby Douglass, et al. The only way some of these guys became successful was adapting to the way the NFL plays the position. I don't think he cant be successful doing it this way, I just think the odds are way against it happening. The only QB I can think of that had success with a style kinda like Tebow's, is Tarkenton, but he had better accuracy, was a better pocket passer, and had a hall of fame defense with the Vikes. That all being said, I would love to see him be successful, as the NFL needs the change he is bringing to it.
  8. Exactly! What I've gotten has been watching super bowls that I don't really care about, unless it's Pittsburgh, then I root for the other team.
  9. My Pats have been using it for 3 years and going...

The 2001 Pats were like this Bronco team. A great kicker, very good defense, and a QB who was/is not great, but doesn't make mistakes and can bring them back in the 4th.
  11. The straight eye is the Japanese version, the down eye is the US version. Supposedly, the down eye version suspends parallel to the surface, and has brass, lead and steel weights, as the US version has all lead weights and floats nose up.
  12. I agree, and that was why Wilt was such a force. His size and the change in the way the game was played and officiated made him look like he had superpower.
  13. Pats 28 Broncos 10. Denver has a good D, but the Pats will still score, and Bellichick has a knack for confusing young, inexperienced QBs. The only factor Denver really has is that it's in Denver, and the Pats have a real tough time up there, plus at a mile above sea level, Tebow will be closer to God, so they can communicate in the huddle more effectively.
  14. I beg to differ, during the late 80s it was brutal, especially the Pistons, but almost every team had their guy or guys who would push you around.
  15. I'm in southern NH but would be interested in joining you guys.
  16. Not good. There are a thousand things I would have found in my house to use instead. Did the baby sit in poop while you were gone for an hour and a half? If I leave at midnight, it's to a hospital or to get some kind of Meds for the kids, nothing else.
  17. My wife and I use only cash. We own a small business, and we operate the business the same way, all of our vendors really appreciate being paid in full the day of delivery, nobody does that these days they tell us.
  18. No, you cannot switch dexterity on them. Yes, they are more difficult to use than spinning reels. If you really like that reel, check out Ebay, you can get them for half of that price, I sold 2 Templars for $32 each recently. If you are getting into the "hobby" we call Bass fishing, eventually, you will probably begin to use a baitcaster, it takes an adjustment period, depending on the user, but I use mine twice as much as my spinning reels now.
  19. I almost forgot about these. Great spinnerbaits, I bought 6 of them this summer, they are durable and they catch fish.
  20. Is Costa Rico a little known island between Costa Rica and Puerto Rico, invented by Wal Mart to make spinnerbaits?
  21. From what I understand, it takes many years of intense training to become a rocket surgeon. The training starts right after you get the lobotomy.

if angry birds were crack, I'd be living in an abandoned apartment building sleeping in a corner.
  23. I agree, ghostbaits makes some great stuff as well.
