Now that they beat the Phils, it should be a fairly easy road to the series, but you never know, thats why they play em.
  2. The xt is lighter than the 64 and the 71. I have owned all 3 and I now use the xt, but for the money that 64 wlp would be my choice. Nice wide spool, and good all around gear ratio. I paid $160 on ebay for my xt, and if your dilligent you might find a 64 wlp cheaper than $109.
  3. And if you believe that, I've got a bridge to sell you. (piece by piece).
  4. Go with the 6:3, good all around ratio, you can reel it slower if needed, and faster if you want. I use my 6:3 for almost everything.
  5. I have one, but I just have the confidence in the cheapos. I also hoard lures, and have a ton of high end stuff I never end up using. I should start posting some stuff in the flea market.
  6. I have the arukus, daiwa tds, and tons of other high end cranks, but my go to is the super spot, probably because I have no fear of snagging it at $2 or $3 each.
  7. When I was younger we used to go to a local river, and there would be waste pipes spewing crap out constantly, literally, crap. The carp would congregate around these pipes, the only problem was it stunk so bad you couldn't be near enough to them to fish. We used to use niblet corn, a decent sinker, and cast it out and let it sit. Biggest one I pulled out was around 21 lbs, great fish.
  8. What are you planning on doing when you graduate? Alchemy?
  9. That things friggin sweet!
  10. A zoom lizard, in any of the pumpkin colors, with a small to medium sized split shot about 8" above it, dragged across the bottom. Never fails for a fish. It's a sort of modified/cheapo carolina rig.
  11. It's tough to tell by looking at the pics you attached.
  12. The Koppers look great, but I think that the lure you are using is often flying by the bass, or they hit it from the bottom, so the extra detail they put in the coloring and design just doesn't make that much of a difference, except in your wallet.
  13. This is a load of crap, just like everyone getting a trophy in kids sports these days. Way to groom them for the real world.
  14. "I still feel kinda crazy right now".
  15. I would ask the seller for proof. He bought them at Tom Mann's estate sale so where's the receipt/paperwork?

I used to use the Williams shave soap and a nice brush, worked pretty good, that is I thought so until I tried shave oil. It's been about 7 or 8 years and I love it, would never go back to anything else. You can actually see what you are doing as it's just an oil, and never get a rash, burn or irritation. No more neck redness, and when I'm done, no cleanup of cream, and the oil moisturizes your skin. It lasts for 6 months or so per $7 bottle. I highly recommend it to anyone who shaves. http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=shave+oil&hl=en&client=safari&rls=en&prmd=imvns&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&biw=1679&bih=860&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=15450054850649371259&sa=X&ei=ulCDTqPrCeXz0gHO9_WVAQ&ved=0CJYBEPMCMAE4Cg#ps-sellers
  17. You buy fishing lures at masonry supply stores?
  18. if I could I would put an icebreaker on the front of my canoe.
  19. Great idea, you would also be helping out any rubber companies (bullets), the local police and fire departments, the local hospitals, and of course the many memories and lessons you would be making for the children of the community.

Oh it's the beard? Perhaps the child attracting bunny avatar is another aspect that could change to get NAMBLA off your tail.
  21. Lockjaw. I knew someone that had it before, not pleasant.
  22. Carp eat crap, and whatever else they can scavenge off the bottom, not yummy sounding to me.

Mine helps, just not my face.
  24. You can park at the plant and launch as well, saves the trip around to park, as long as you have a carry in.
  25. I put them on a spot remover, and they are killer.
