My wife and I own a small store, and we deal with a local farm to sell CSA's. My question is, should we have our customer's make out the payment directly to the farm and have them cut us a check, or have the checks made out to us, and we cut the farm a check? Is either of those scenarios better as far as our taxes go? We have been getting the checks and having them made out directly to the farm and the farm has been cutting us a check, but we now have other fees associated with the program, and they are strictly our fees, so I was thinking,(hoping), that if the check was cut out to us, and we pay the farm it's cut, our taxes would be the same.

We have 2 boys and 1 girl. Perfect mix, but my poor daughter is like a 3rd son.

I read recently that during one of their auctions, some other buyer, besides the cast we see on TV, bought a locker that contained $500,000 worth of spanish coins. Not a bad commission for the auctioneers.

I don't think you should ever "blow" a game. Think about Indy a couple of years ago, I think twice they rolled over on games, in different seasons, only to fail in the playoffs, losing has no benefits.The Pats a couple of years ago were sliding every game after the baltimore game, and eked out wins for about 6 or 7 games before the Giants did what they did. I do want the Pack to go undefeated, and win the super bowl, as I dislike the 72 dolphins, great team at the time, but now they pop their champagne to rub it in, it's about time someone else did it.

I'm trying to make some chatter style baits, 1/2 oz, and I have a couple of questions. What size split rings would I use and what size duo lock snaps? I also found some square blades, could I use tin snips to shape them?

This isn't a case of workplace misdeeds, this is molestation of a minor, many minors. As far as I'm concerned, everyone in the chain that did nothing is complicit in some way, no question about it. What if it was your kid or family member? If someone at work came to me and said, Hey I just saw a 10 year old boy in the shower with a 55 year old man, my first call wouldn't be to my boss, just sayin, and if it was my kid, no phone call would be needed, I'm pretty sure I would take care of that myself.

The Aruku shads are great, and I like the Little John's as well. I think all of their lures are worth the $, and if you can get them cheaper, by all means do.

I live in Southern NH as well, and use a 5500 to power everything I need as well. The trouble, as I see it, is that the utility company has gobbled up the competition, but has not staffed accordingly. Too many customers, not enough customer service.

I have psoriasis, and when I was a kid it got under my pointer finger nail. My mom took me to the Dr, and he used a very special tool to remove my nail, he used a friggin pair of pliers. He numbed it and pulled the nail off while I watched. My mom heard the screams from the waiting room.
