Tebow gets just as much good as bad press, he gets more press than Cam Newton, a far superior QB than himself, but his polarizing stances get him the press. Joe did get negative press, remember his bachelor status and the ads he did?Joe also got his bad knees from years of scrambling around,because his line sucked and he was a "playmaker" and if you remember, Doug Williams, he brought the Tampa franchise to the playoffs like 3 out of 4 years, and was paid worse than half of the 2nd stringers in the league, then asked for a raise and was told to fly a kite, so he went to the usfl and did well there, then came back and only started because the starter was hurt. First black qb in a super bowl, and still the only one to win one. ( I love talking old NFL!)

Doug Williams was an above average QB for his career, but most of it was spent with the Bucs, so hence the losing record. I think Joe Willie would be a better comparison. one good season, one good game, and he's a legend. He has a losing record overall, and threw 50 more pics than Tds, yet his legend supercedes all of that, kind of like Tebow, so far.
