Random Tackle And Organizing Tips
For your big expensive baits like swimbaits and stuff line the top and bottom of a box with a good dense foam. It will keep the baits from moving around and banging into each other and messing up your custom paint job Also you can like like a old soft or hard handgun case sine they come lined with foam. They work amazing and it is the best thing I have found yet for those big expensive lures. I see people who make those hanging boxes with the threaded rod and snaps. Those are ok and I actually made one but then I have to snap hook covers on all the hooks and it does not stop them from actually banging into each other. With the foam you generally dont even need hook covers on them but I still do. Also a CD case/book works great for spinner baits and such. O and old pill bottles or something for things you might need like tooth picks or q-tips ect.

Keitech Swing Impact Rolling?
Sometimes a bullet weight in front of it can keep it from rolling and you can push a nail weight across the bottom of it but it needs to be pretty perfect. Also lately I have been wrapping some suspend strip around normal non weighted hooks and I don't know why I actually have not done that sooner. What even prompted me to do this was fishing buzz frogs and them not always running one the correct side. If you use a weighted swimbait hooks it fixes the issue no problem but I feel they are usually to heavy and even more so when you start getting into the 5 and 6 size hooks. A couple little pieces of suspend strip wrapped around the hook nice and tight works wonders.

Ambassadeur 5600 Bcx
Yea it for sure is not anything to write home about as far as reels go but I got a BNIB for $10. I mean for that price how could I not buy it. I took it apart as soon as I got it and cleaned it all out. There was soooooo much of this blue grease inside the thing it was silly. Now it is a absolute casting machine but it is really loud on when it casts and I think its cause of the brakes. They are weird to me being these little plastic things you need to pop out and then snap in these these little sides to turn them off. Also having to take out 3 screws and separate the 2 plates to even get at them is annoying The anti reverse though is still all slow even after I tried to clean the crap out of it and spraying it down with brake cleaner a bunch of times I just cant get it to spin freely. It has those little tiny rollers and I think that makes its a bit harder for the grit to find its way out. I will say though working on round reels is a real pain if its not totally perfect and you have to open it back up to make some little adjustment. For some strange reason and even though i know better when working on that reel I could't resist clicking the thumb bar when the side plate was off. I seriously did it like 4 or 5 times and probably spent a hour or more on my hand and knees with a flashlight looking through light grey carpet to find the springs. One of the time I was about to just say screw it because I couldn't find the one. The I thought you know what let me check something and looked inside a pair of shoes that was on the floor and it was inside one of them

Ever Get Such A Bad Bird Nest That You End Up Cutting It Out?
Ok so maybe I retract that statement about the thumb thing and just pulling loops. I have no idea what can fix that or even how that happens. Did you fall asleep or something while casting? Clearly there are some people on here who are on a whole other level and are much better backlashers then I will ever hope to be. If people are getting backlashes like that somewhat often then I wish you the best of luck and you should starting buying those half mile spools of line. lol

Ever Get Such A Bad Bird Nest That You End Up Cutting It Out?
Those are the worst backlashes I have ever gotten. Fishing the remote jungle lakes and ponds that hold big fish can get rough with the casting sometimes. Trying to finagle my way in there and make a cast is not always easy. You might catch a piece of tall grass or clip a leaf on a nearby tree and its all over from there. I have also clipped the seats in jon boats before and those are also pretty gnarly I will just stop my spool with my thumb as soon as it happens and its usually nothing to get out. Rarely do I ever have to pick any thing out. Usually it might be a couple loops and i can pull my reel towards me right before my bait hits the water and it will pull out those couple little loops so your good to go as soon as the lure lands. I did actually cut out a spool for the first time ever about a week ago though. We were having a contest on who could throw a S-Waver 200 the farthest and I was getting fast and loose with it and caught a mean helicopter. I could of pulled it out but it was CXX and the memory had gotten so bad I planned to respool that day anyways. FYI If it is ever so bad you actually have to pick at it like with braid or something. Save your self the trouble and cut your lure off and pull it out from underneath. Also the thumb trick blows and I am sure it is pretty terrible to do to your reel all the time. Just pull some loops and not super hard so it kinks or tightens down on you if its wrong. Probably 30 seconds tops and your ready to rock.

Ambassadeur 5600 Bcx
Is it possible to remove the anti reverse/roller bearing out of one of these to clean it? I tried to push it out but it is not moving and on the inside of the cover around it there is a ring that I think is locking it in but I don't know how to get it out without possibly damaging it.

Frog Frustration
Thats basically what I had said. You are probably twitching to hard do not realize it. Move your tip as little as you can and see what happens. They all kind of walk different and some are better then other. also the action of your rod and line make a difference to. If you mess up the cadence or twitch again to soon or something it wont walk back to the other side and it can get stuck where it will keep wanting to walk either right or left over and over and not go side to side. Also sometimes I push some splitshots inside the body. If the frog keep wanting to nose up and like jump out of the water when you twitch it that will help and bit and it also gives it a little bit of rattle. I forgot that you should not think it would be a good idea to push one of the long drop shot weights inside the frog. It went in great but I totally destroyed the frog trying to get the dumb thing out. Stick with some small splitshots if you go that route or suspend strips. Those things are amazing at times.

Baby D-Bombs
I actually just started using the Missile Craws and they absolutely kill it. They are way more durable then D-Bombs and they have a thinner profile and slip right through stuff without getting fouled as much. They also work good on a dropshot or shaky head. Don't get me wrong I still love me some D-Bombs but lately these out fish my D-Bombs all day.

I Want To Upgrade The Bushings In The Level Wind On Tatula?
I actually just did a all out clean of everything on a Tatula of mine yesterday. You can not take the front plate covering the level wind off without taking off the e-clip and sliding the level wind out a little. The gear to it is covering the screw for the plate. Its kind of a PITA to do. I will say though now it went from a great reel to a amazing one. As for handle bearings I also just did a bunch of other reels completely torn down. Well I did handle bearing and that was something I have never done before. Its not so bad on reels with a single bearing. But reels like my Lews that have 2 bearings just keep spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning when I have my hand off. I don't really like that and it is somewhat bothersome to me. I am just not used to that and can feel it spinning.

What Line Are You Using???
Suffix 832 40# Power Pro SS 50# I got this for free the other day so I spooled it up. I am not sure about it. I think I like normal PP better. Izorline Platinum 15# Yo-Zuri Hybrid 15# Yo-Zuri Hybrid 12# Yo-Zuri Hybrid 30# !!! Bought it on accident and just put it on swimbait reel to try it. Suffix Seige 20# Suffix Elite 8# P-Line CXX 20# Power Pro 20# and 30# I think that might be it. I am probably forgetting something. Really I would like to just change every non braid reel to CXX of different sizes. It has great sensitivity and very little stretch. They memory can get pretty crazy though but that is the price you pay for such a great line. I need to just start buying the 3k spools so I can respool all the time

Walmart Error In My Favor
Let me tell you something about how much Walmart even cares. My buddy is the general manager for a chain of stores called the xchange. They buy or give store credit on electronics, music, video games, ect. Well people would come in and try to sell stuff that is clearly stolen and has walmart tags still on it. He would call Walmart all the time about it and every time they would say it doesn't matter to us and just keep it and that they will write it off any ways. He kept trying to call them for the longest time about stolen items and never once did they care even on big dollar items like TV's and stuff. He won't even try to let them know about it anymore because after trying a insane amount of times they just don't care. It's pretty crazy but thats the truth.

Fenwick Hmx Spinning Rods
I actually just bought the 7' M/H HMG not to long ago and I really like it. It was actually a really stiff rod and thats why I liked it. I use it for light plastics in weeds or small frogs and such that just is not always suited for a casting rod. It also was like one of the only rods at my tackle store that had a full front cork and that is a HUGE selling point for me with spinning rods. The only down side is the cork on it seems to just suck any moisture out of my hands from holding it but it looks nice . I would just pay the extra $10 and get another HMG. Or you can go all out and get a elite tech for $40 more. Those are like the Pflueger President of spinning rods if you get what I mean. Personally I don't care for mojo anything and there is always something better you could get then a mojo for the same price or less. They do have the good hook keepers though!

Shimano Crucial Rods
I don't have any experience with the new ones with the cork but i have the EVA ones. The 7'2" MX/XF is probably my favorite and most comfortable of all my rods. The way the reel seat is and how you lock it in from the bottom with no threads is A+ in my book. Oh they also have hook keepers that actually make sense and are not the idiotic closed loops or those ones that flip up. Those make no sense to me and even more so on a worm/jig rod when I have to poke my hook point out of my plastic to get it on there. Sorry about that ^^. Those things just annoy me and now I just glue my own on rods that have the stupid keepers.

Side To Side Play On Reel Handle.
That is maybe more geared towards someone who has never taken a reel apart. That doesn't really tell much but those YouTube Videos were the best I have ever seen probably for cleaning a reel. I already fixed the play the 2 reels had anyways but I appreciate the posts. TY

Selecting Swimbait! Help
With 10' visibility I would try glides. S-Wavers are great baits and they are cheap. You could also pick up a converted Deps 175 SS for fairly cheap or maybe a 145 if the 175 is to heavy. Also the Gan Craft S-Song works great for a bluegill glide bait.

Two Odd Bass Pitching Questions?
I think you are better off skipping something that weighs 50% or more of the rods rating unless you are super pro.. That way your tip will load nicely and give you good velocity. Maybe try a heavier jog to practice with.

Plastic Bait Melting In Car?
I have a tackle bag in my vehicle always and it does ok. They can get a little weird sometimes and like leech colors on to each other. Besides for that though its usually fine. Ihave had the legs on hollow body frogs melt and get all sticky. Also jigs with banded skirts. The band can like melt or split and you skirt will just fall off.

Only 3 Baits Allowed
Triple Trout 7" Deps 250 or a S-Song 115 depending on the lake Lunker Punker 6"

How Do You Cleanly Trim Tackle Box Compartment Dividers?
I have tons of them somewhere. They are in a old beat up box or something. The real question is how come I don't ever seem to have enough of the short long dividers. The one that goes right dead center of the box at the bottom.

Replacing Trebles With Singles
I read somewhere that you can change out trebles for singles on anything and it wouldn't really make much difference. I don't know how true it is but I think for any lure that is constantly moving you should be fine. Eerie dearies only have a single hook and they are basically a rooster tail.

Walmart Error In My Favor
Ya I actually also got a Plano tackle bag. It is the real tree one and came with 4 7500's and it was only $15$. Just the boxes alone cost that much or more.

How Do You Cleanly Trim Tackle Box Compartment Dividers?
A utility knife. I will also only cut the end ones off so I dont have to trim both sides.

Walmart Error In My Favor
So I stopped at a Walmart I never go to because I had to grab a couple quick things. Any ways I decided to check out what they had in the fishing section. Of course that was going to happen. Well I found one of those Falcon Bucco casting rods they carry and most of them said something like $129 but marked down to $99. Any ways I found one that was marked down to like $20 and after I rang it up it came to $21. It was a 6'6" MH 1/4-3/4 oz I think. I mean for $21 I had to buy it.
