I bet that the guys who make a living at finding fish would welcome such electronics. Could be a guide or a guy who catches fish for a living for sale at market. I understand the "sporting" aspect but there's 2 side to the coin.

Hey Rich. I started fishing out in the Breckenridge area of Colorado. If I had those gold medal rivers in my backyard I’d be fly fishing as much as I could. Have you ever thought of going out with a guide for a half day? Highly recommend it. You’d love fly rodding for trout or panfish out there. Good luck man! ?

Nice post. I honestly think your 2nd sentence summed up your whole post with 2 key words: confidence bait. I’m not a swim jig fisher. Don’t know why to be honest. If I’m fishing horizontally in grabbing a spinnerbait or a lipless crankbait because those are my confidence baits. Is the swim jig better than the spinnerbait or lipless crank? Could be on that day but one isn’t better than the other. For me, I want to fish a lure I have conviction in and it sounds like thats the swim jig for you.
