  1. Love the patterns @bulldog1935. Boy, I miss tying. If you and @Whatever keep coming up with these creations, I may have to invest in a magnifying glass and stand to build some bucktails of my own.?
  2. I don't worry about it. I'm not botanically correct. Botanically...can I use that here? ?
  3. I've been gearing up for the saltwater season. I've got a couple of new rods and reels, tackle and what not. Bucktail jigs are very popular with the saltwater community in Southern Maine. I used to fly tie but with the damage in my left eye, it's just no much fun for me. I got into a really nice conversation with a fairly new member here on BassResource.com and @Whatever asked me to send him some saltwater hooks. Absolutely beautiful! I plan on using them on a dropper rig for some black sea bass. Dee, can't thank you enough!
  4. My wife is getting her second shot Easter Sunday. Me? I'm not even a blip on the radar yet....Then again, I wasn't a blip 9 mos before I was born either. Oh well, at least I'm consistent.
  5. Sorry, I had look up that big word. You just taught something. ?
  6. 53* today. 67* tomorrow and 63* on Friday. We’re gaining on it!
  7. I still like to walk the dog with the OG wood spook. Another favorite is the Rebel Pop’R. Caught my fist bass on one.
  8. That’s awesome Blue! Let’s hope their seafood is fresh. ?
  9. I'm pretty much 100% ”Tonight’s forecast? Will be dark.” ?
  10. I got advice from Steven Wright and he says to use a dotted line. He picked the tip up from Salvador Dali when he fished with him. Said he caught every other fish. ?
  11. Love it. Up here we dye the craw's shell red like we used to with pistachios. Gives the craw a certain je ne sais quoi a bass just can't stand.
  12. "It's the old leave out the punch line trick, 99."
  13. Honestly, without knowing what you have currently it's hard to answer this question. If it were me and I was unsure as you are, I would take it to a place like U-Haul and let them repair/replace it knowing that it will be done right. May cost a few extra dollars, but it's a small insurance policy and piece of mind knowing it got done right. I wouldn't want to be traveling down the road and finding out my boat let go 5 miles back. ?
  14. Just quote yourself and label it as "EDIT" or "UPDATE" And if you do say something stupid like @jbsoonerfan mentions, just wear it...no harm no foul.
  15. I had a feeling you were gonna say that. ?
  16. Are you taking down or are you spraying it in place?
  17. My ceiling fan gets used daily and it started to make a squeaking noise. I took the blades off and cleaned them up, found out that 1 of the blades needed to be tightened. Cleaned the rest of the fan and light globe. Put it back together and the squeak is gone but the fan is still kinda loud. Can these things be lubricated? I’m assuming they rotate on a bearing system? Anyone ever have the same problem?
  18. Yep...me too...?
  19. Oh gotchya...sorry man, I didn't know how it worked ?
  20. Does a budget need to be stipulated? What would you use? ?
  21. I lean towards a shorter rod as well. A 6' medium ideal for me. Heck, I used a 5'6" rod for years....until it broke
  22. Hahahaha...you and I must have went to the same school...Hard Knocks High
  23. You had one? I thought I was old enough to have seen most things, but have never seen a calculator like that?
  24. ^^7^^ Not gonna lie, it depressed me Only because it's spring training
