  1. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Good smallies. Take anything and everything of value out of your vehicle.
  2. I like the SV reels just fine. Love the little Fuego CT's (I skip with mine). But if you want to see why Daiwa is special get an older Zillion HSLA with a 100m or PE Spool. You can get them for a good price now. Once you get the hang of non SV reels (not hard) you'll be blown away how an "old" reel can perform.
  3. All Vt fish 7.2 LM on fat ika 7.0 LM on weedless 6" Huddleston 6.5 LM on Lucky Craft Flash Minnow 5.9 Smallie on Skeet Reese Lucky Craft crank (2 casts after the 6.5 lm above). Numerous 5+ Smallies on Speedcraws So... literally anything will get you a pb
  4. I've already got a bag that holds 6-7 3600s and with plenty of room for plastics. It's just getting a bit beat up. I was curious as to what the TW bags true capacity was and if people had any issues. I am familiar with the cabelas bags, definitely nice.
  5. Anyone have the Tackle Warehouse tackle bag that is on sale? Reviews on tw site vary tremendously on the capacity of Plano boxes that can fit... 11 3600s or 4, kind of a big difference to make an educated guess. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-RRCYAMA.html?from=basres
  6. St Lawrence river smallies looooove white senkos.
  7. It's one of the largest freshwater predators, in a one acre pond. That's like asking an Elephant to live its life in a baseball diamond. Not good for either.
  8. I've got 2 buddies on their pro staff. I can play with them and see what they're all about.
  9. Tackle Supply Depot has chartreuse, pink and Dark Shad in that size
  10. https://www.steepandcheap.com/Store/catalog/search.jsp?q=Costas&p=category%3A1.steepcheap.Sunglasses&s=a
  11. In Costa the mirror green is an amber base. Blue mirror is the grey base. I run Costas in an Amber(green mirror) year round. You can find good deals on Costas if you look, I got a pair of Permits (plastic lenses) for $66 last week brand new. Plastic (polycarbonate) vs glass lenses... polycarbonate doesn't shatter when a tungsten weight hits them. Glass seems clearer.
  12. Sunline Super Natural
  13. Just a question, what is the reason for limiting yourself to 7ft? What are you hoping to throw?
  14. 10+ Gritty...
  15. 7/10 (Sturgill Simpson covers a song of theirs) Love the guys that lived hard lives and are still doing it, but not becoming nostalgia acts.
  16. Sportsman is good
  17. Tell him Weber sent you
  18. Ti is starting to spawn and water is 50s to 60s. Mostly largemouth for sure. Your boat is fine there as the lake isn't big enough down there to get rolling. Above the bridge is where she gets uglier for sure, still not always and witha nearly 19ft boat you aren't too limited. Mid-lake is high 40s to mid 50s and nearly all smallies right now, starting to chomp for sure. North end is fire right now. Wolfpacks are around. Water is 50-60. Your boat would be fine up north too. St Albans and Malletts Bays are on, as is the islands and rouses point. Check with Dave at the Anchorage Cottages in south hero to see if they have room. He's a Mass guy and has a ton of Mass guys come up.
  19. TH Marine for me
  20. Ika with a screw lock is best Salty core tube is 2nd. Much heavier and pricier per bait. Hydras don't glide, skirt flairs and they just fall. Shove a busted senko up a tube for a ghetto version. Some guys have molds and can do them. Don't buy with skirts that have balls on the end. Mend-it is key Buy 4/0 and 5/0 in regular and superline to vary the weight and how they glide/fall.
  21. I carry spools. Not rocket science or cumbersome. Saved a few days for sure.
  22. Those will get you your big fish. Good choices.
  23. Aside from the handle and spool what are the differences (that matter)?
