  1. Newest lefty rumors are: A. Late May B. They don't know.
  2. Lexa (or Aird if you want a shallower spool) you're probably best to go through Daiwa. If you want a standard t3b spool, which isn't a bad spool at all, Daiwa as well. 1016 spool, you can get at the tackle trap. Other shops with good prices on spools (SV, 1012, etc.) Are plat tackle, hedgehog studio, and Rakuten.
  3. Yo Zuri Hybrid 8lb. The fluoro sinking is messing with the action. Many many pros and local studs swear by mono for jerk baits.
  4. My little one used a "Barbie" zebco thing from just before 2 until last summer (just turned 4). This year I have her set up with an 500 (UL) sized reel and a 4'6" UL spinning rod.
  5. http://tipnut.com/grow-potatoes/ Problem solved. Works very well.
  6. The retreat setback in Brattleboro, on the Ct. Is good for pike.
  7. 8-12lb Yo Zuri Hybrid.
  8. I use an older version of this. Holds plenty plus it mounts to you several ways so you'll be comfortable. http://marmot.com/products/details/bodega
  9. If you have Pike you may need a replacement here and there. No Pike, no issues.
  10. If it were me... 1ea. 8" ROF 5, 8" ROF 12, 68 Special ROF 5, 68 Special ROF 12, 68 weedless ROF 12. (If you are dragging through thick weeds the big kick of the tail will be diminished.) 6" ROF 5 6" ROF 12 If you can get regular 6" weedless they are great baits. Looking at that list seems like a lot, it is but you'll be set up for most anything.
  11. Zoom ultra vibe speed craws and Rage Tail Smokin Rooster.
  12. Can't argue with Owner. But I like Eagle Claw Lazer's with the screw locks.
  13. Spare Tupperware Bin. Then have 1-2 gallon ziplocks filled with the individual bags of each type. Then I go through and put what I need for the respective trips in a box or two, and if need be a small BPS worm wrap.
  14. Lamiglas Excel or Excel II 735 is a great Carolina Rig rod. Little higher end would be the Phenix Recon 2 766 model. All have an average lure weight around 1oz.
  15. Baby pacas or paca chunks on jigs. Rage tails, pit bosses, zoom speed craws or chunks are a good starting point for trailers.
  16. Doesn't Shimano already do that with some of their Fukashima plant bearings?
  17. Different bait. There are 4 Pit Bosses: 3,4,5" & chunk. The chunk is the trailer.
  18. Carolina rig and flipping mats. I bought a ton and am psyched to try them (still 30" of ice here). You need a 1/0 or 2/0 flipping hook, they're really tiny.
  19. Nerd. Want to go fish Cumberland Bay in August!
