HELL YEA Ej !!! Nice job dude and congrats !!!! Anna is going to be tough,really tough in the upcoming weeks, lots of things happening, I think you should keep an open mind though Ej. Good luck fishing deep beds, your gonna have to put it right in front of them and smack them in the nose with it. Just a suggestion if that ain't working for ya, head up Anna and fish up toward Christopher Run, and places farther north, I would look for a duck blind where the old river splits and start there, be careful the water gets shallow and stays shallow in a hurry when you get close to there.

I agree with RW here too, it's the best rig for all around fishing, as it has been said before time and time again, it's the SUV of our sport. One really good thing about this rig is you can peg the weight once you get used to it and give you the feel of a C-Rig before you actually start to use it. Take the time you need to fish the T-Rig with different weights and baits and work your way into the C-Rig by pegging the weight and it will be like second nature to you in no time at all, neither one are difficult to master it just takes time and practice.

It sounds like the idle may be set a little low, or the timing may be a little retarded, has anyone messed with any of the settings? It could also be a restriction in the fuel delivery system, have you checked your fuel supply system? the whole thing?

Do you mean brand of battery? If so most all are the same, as far as what size to get really depends on the size of water you are going to fish, a 750 cca will get you through a pretty windy day and still have some left over.

A good battery is always a deep cycle marine battery, in my opinion and experience, batteries like car batteries are ok to use but just do not hold a charge as long and don't last as long either, as far as prices are concerned you need to shop around. Glass matt batteries are good as well, like optima batteries, the ones that look like a six pack, they have individual cells that are in their own pack and will not short as easily as a flooded single cell battery, they last as long if not longer than a marine battery, although they are a good bit more in price, they are worth the money. It really comes down to personal preference in some cases, it's how much do you want to pay for a good battery.

If your t/stat is stuck it would overheat at any speed, if it truly is getting hot you wont be able to get your hand near the engine and it will sound like you are frying bacon. The best thing for you to do is take it to a good tech and let them look it over.

Yes, this is one of my favorite things to do when the bass develop a case of the lock jaw, the best thing about this little trick is that it works all year round when the fishing is really tough, not just for bedding bass. I have gone right behind anglers and caught bass in tough conditions that they miss using this method, it's really good for docks, grass, and stained water, it does however require a little patience so take your time with it.

It may cause a few to spawn a little early, but I look for the weather to make more of them stage a little sooner, the biggest thing I think is going to have an impact on is the bait fish, not many have been killed off this past winter so the fishing may be a little more difficult to develop a consistancy, I think it is just going to make you fish a lot smarter this year than in the past couple of years.

The spinner should be working, where when and how are you using it? The spinner is nothing more than a fancy jig, have you tried using it like a jig yet? Toss it in some cover, let it fall, twitch it, let it fall again, keep repeating until you are out of the strike zone then slow roll it back to the boat.

It would be worth it to have those colors, next time you go out get a couple, they work well, good luck buddy!!!!

I would definately fish the drop off's or dips, the jig would be a bruised banana color with a green pumpkin trailer or bama rage tail craw, and spinners would be grey/white or light blue/white with a chartuse trailer fished right off the bottom of even making contact with the bottom, buzz baits would be black if it is overcast. Thats just me wishing I was fishing though lol. Good luck and be safe !!!!

If there is enough cover then maybe, I would concentrate on flats 5 to 15 ft deep heading toward shallower water, I am not familure with the water you are fishing but if I were at Anna this weekend thats what I would be doing. There are plenty of areas that have grass on the primary points as well as secondary points. Don't be afraid to get off the banks and fish the deeper water.

Endless, I don't think they are yet, I have planted various lillies and grasses in my gold fish pond, I look at them before I make a lake trip so I know whats going on, the grasses are growing pretty fast, the lillies are just starting to sprout.

I agree with catt, the structure really does not change without a significant instance occurring, as far as the dotted lines are concerened, the old road bed means that there once was a road that was traveled before the lake was flooded, the road or road bed is still there but now under water, the pavement, if it was paved, was most likely scraped up before the lake was flooded and you are left with the gravel or dirt bedding. You should however take advantage of it by fishing those old road beds, that added structure makes for a good habitat for bass and other fish. Not all topo maps are completely accurate, it is up to us to report any changes we may note in the structure, case in point, there was a hump at my lake that showed it was in approximately 15 feet of water at full pool, when in fact it was in only in 3 feet of water at full pool, I noted the spot and submitted a report for the change to the state and a year later the maps were changed, and a warning post was put in place. So keep an eye out and good luck and be safe !!!
