Best Reel For The Money!
If you can find a 50e for around 120 you're getting one heck of a deal. I like Gambler use Yo-Zuri 12# on mine and its one of my favorite reels, just doesn't top a daiwa though

Whos Ready For The Nfl?
HOW BOUT DEM COWBOYS!?!?! Poised to go to the big bowl this year, and will surprise the nation. With Claiborne and some other key players in the secondary, we actually have a better shot. And with our renewed running game in Murray, we shall be UNSTOPPABLE! 10-6 wins the NFC East this year tye-breaker style, so watch out. The boys are back in town, the boys are back in town...

New St. Croix Rods
My lord. What's wrong with you St.Croix? Half the reason I enjoy your rods are the clean, cork, non-flashy rods, with a little flair in your higher line up. Thats what I really appreciated about your rods. But these are just butt ugly

Rod For Curado 50E
I'll say the BPS Carbonlites are very nice rods, and are only like 80$ on sale. Which is often. I would pick up one of those. Very light and crisp rods. Oh, and while your at it get some Yo-Zuri hybrid 10# Thats some great stuff

Curado 50E Vs. Citica 200E
What rods are both mounted on? What about line? Are the breaks and spool tension set the same? These are all important factors which need to be mentioned.

Still Just Dont Get It, Just Not For Me.
I think we should all just be greatful it's that we can fish what we want, because it's a free country, and enjoy our purchases. If someone wants to be brand-loyal, let them. You do not need to argue about which is better because, you know, you'll never win. It's their loss if they want to deny that a certain product is better. It should be left at that and let them enjoy their reels why you enjoy yours.

Sunglasses Question.
best way to put it.

2013 Abu Garcia Revos (Stirring The Pot...)
They look to have the same profile as the new JM Carbonlite. Maybe they used BPS as a test run....

What Brand Fluorocarbon?
I like Seaguar Invizx/Arazx. BPS XPS flouro is also really nice but it's never in stock around here. Yo-Zuri is an extremely cheap decent alternative.

What Kind Of Reel Lube Do You Prefer?
I use Ardents products in all my reels, and it's very nice in my opinion
-
Ds Line Twist!!!
Use a bait caster. less line twist coming from the reel itself.
-
Must-Have Color
anything with the color combo blue and green. Two favorites of mine are Okeechobee Craw and Rage Tails Blue Craw.

Ds Line Twist!!!
In the rare case I drop-shot, I use a swivel at the end of the tag to connect to the DS weight. I think that most of the line twist comes from the weight rolling and turning while in contact with the bottom. It has help me, and have not had any line twist of significance.

Stuck To Shimano
SHIMANO does make a really nice product, and people (especially at BR ) love them, for good reason. Glad to hear you enjoy them so much you've gone all SHIMANO!

Abu Garcia Veritas
You are right the Veritas is a good rod. I said so in my post. And i'm glad you dont feel a need to go out and buy a 200$ rod. I recently bought a G.Loomis at BPS just to see what a high-end rod was like. I used it once and returned it because I didn't need it, and I am satisfied with my current rods all of which cost less than $200. And with their rod line-up, they can cover just about any technique. They're versatile rods. I've used both the 7' M/F S, and the 6'9" MH/XF C to be specific. And yes I am a kid. What does that have to do with this? And would you please tell me what company I am a so called fanboy of? I think those comments are very disrespectful and rude. I did not ask for a 200$ rod for christmas, in fact, I didn;t ask for any rod from anyone. I think anything over $160-175 isn't worth the price tag in todays market. And it has a lot to with advertising actually. It's one of the most highly recognizable budget rods. It became there through advertising. If it wasn't marketed like it was, millions of people wouldn't have picked it up because they were unaware. And yes, positive feedback comes from users. But so does over-hyped "This rod is so great! Just as good as my x y z costing x y z .", Which I seem to see alot of concerning the Veritas on the internet. No need to apologize. You partially answered your own question. Marketing is a lot of concepts, including advertising, promoting, target markets, blah blah blah. How do you think anglers found out about the Veritas? Many people saw the specs, components, the "nano-technology", and they wanted one, having never ever seen them or felt them, inclining them, both professional and recreational, anglers to purchase the rod. People went crazy for them. That's fantastic marketing on Abu Garcias part, they have always been good at that. Anglers love them, and have great results. That does not mean that people over-hype things. One of the many common things people like to do is, if they own something, they tend to give it great praise, but dont always recognize short comings of said product. It makes them feel better about their purchase. I am not bashing the Veritas rods. From my viewpoint the are over-hyped, and not what they are made out to be. I think they are great rods and am planning to purchase on in the near future.

What Do You Do?
I work at Le Dom. Its an up-scale pizza place in Stafford. Or atleast that's what I tell myself... It's Dominos. If you've ever ordered a pizza here, I've probably made it.

New Setup, Shimano Chronarch 200E...
I find if you're spinnerbaiting in any sort of cover, I really like the MH/F from St.Croix. However for open water its a little stiff.

Abu Garcia Veritas
Let me start off by saying the Veritas is a good rod, especially for the price. But seriously, all their stuff gets over-hyped. Really overhyped. Almost everybodies first reaction is how light and sensitive it is. That's cool, its light and sensitive. But so are the other half of budget rods. And people who compare them to rods costing twice as much, well if you've felt any of those you would immediately tell the difference. Point being, way to many people praise it because its the best rod they've ever felt, and its usually their first over 90 $ rod. Point being: good rod, extremely overhyped and overrated. Good marketing Abu

Oakley, Costa, Or Kaenon?
Costa Del Mar's HQ is in Florida, but they are manufactured in numerous places including Japan, Italy, France, Mauritius, and Taiwan. However, the older models were in fact made here in the USA.
