  1. Conditioning for lacrosse should help keep me sane. Who doesn't like to run non-stop for 3+ hours a day everyday?
  2. When you hover over a topic, on the right side you will see an arrow . Click on it and it's a topic preview as you described.
  3. please be in stock when I get paid, please be in stock when i get paid, please be in stock when i get paid, please be in stock when I get paid, please be in stock when I get paid. FRIDAY, Y U NO COME FASTER?!?! Unless anyone wants to pick one up, and I can Paypal them on Friday? Let me know if you can and we'll discuss it.
  4. So is there no more -1 button? I dont see one.
  5. I was looking at the MHX blanks and noticed all the different types, like mag bass, popping, etc. Should I be worried about those names or just pick the right power and action? Also, when you do a custom build, how do you know what size reel seat and winding checks to buy? Do you order a blank, measure, then order the components? Or is there some sort of standard thing I should know about? I know i'll need to order a dryer also, what rpm is best? I saw a kit that included a 9 RPM drying motor, how well will that work for drying AND applying epoxy? Also, is color preserver a must? I'm thinking if they make color preserver, it's probably a good idea. Also, I read that Fuji's ACS reel seat is self arboring, what does that tell me on how to put it on? Which brings up my next point, exposed blank reel seats, ACS/ECS, how do I make sure it's the right size for the right spot on the blank to ensure there is no gap between the reel seat and the blank? Also, what kind of stickers can you use under epoxy, to bascally state power, action, etc. and add a logo? Me = confused. Thanks for all your help!
  6. I shall post pictures after my TW order comes in tomorrow, and my new organizational ways. (After work, that is.)
  7. Wont handle the lighter baits as well, but it is an option if you have to have that one.
  8. I thought they would have said something like that when I got to the closer ford dealership (parts), and I was shocked it came out so low. I only had 300 in the bank and I thought it would be ~$400 so i had called my grandparents to see if they could lend me money to pay for it. Thank the big man it was relatively cheap.
  9. 6'8" M/XF rod with a 2000 spinning reel, light fluoro, about 6-8 lb. can be used for what I mentioned above and skipping. I reccomend Powell rod, Daiwa Exceler high speed spinning reel , Seaguar InvizX.
  10. Maybe try a Powell Max 7' M/XF next for light plastics, jigs, finesse stuff, etc.
  11. But anyways, I was bidding on a pixy and Alphas before the exceeded my price range, so I was just going to get a BNIB SOL, then supertune and upgrade the drag and bearing. The plan is still another SOL, but upgrades will have to wait.
  12. I actually had my left rear tire blow out on me RABLLE RABBLE RABBLE. Next pay check. Edit: Actually I have to wait until my paycheck then the next pay check after that. So 3 weeks. Buying a new tire/rim/brake part ran me about 225 or so. Basically ran me dry. And had to buy a new rim and some brake part because my tire blew up on the highway, not just a flat on some street. And I have to wait for two checks because I make on average $150 per 2 weeks. Minimum wage life I guess, haha
  13. I wouldn't be suprised if it vanished.

VA isn't too bad, there is Quantico and Fort Belvoir if you stay in the armed forces, and all within a short drive from Stafford, where I live. It's a nice little spot, almost zero crime, plenty of schools, nice people, and there is shopping (Target, Kohls, Walmart, restaurants, etc. within about 10 minutes, and only 20 minutes away from Woodbridge or Spotsylvania for your wifes mall needs There are some pretty nice holes around here as well, my dad caught his 13 lber 13 miles away from my house, The Potomac, where fishing is basically endless. That, and VA has seasons, which I enjoy. Its hot in summer, warm in spring, cool in fall, and cold and snowy in winter. I couldn't function with hot or cold all year. It's not too expensive of a place to live either. I'd recommend checking it out. Stafford is quite the Booming place right now, it's in the top 20 fastest growing areas of the US. It's not much a city either. Right off the high way is some shopping, then going west comes all the local businesses we all love, then comes neighborhoods, then the country if you wish. There is a little for everyone.
  15. 12 hour drive, plus hotel, plus food... We shall see how my income fares.
  16. I heard it's nubs.
  17. Not a fan of either lines, but I will say CXX is STRONG!
  18. Also, I plan on using 8 # Flouro, if that helps, for weightless baby flukes, and very small jerkbaits, and an occasional small sniper spinnerbait.
  19. I was leaning towards the SOL before, and it seems like a good choice from the afore mentioned recommendations. Has anyone had any experience with the 2011 Alphas? Edit: I might be getting a killer deal on an Alphas Ito for about 150, very slightly used. Should I get that? Or a BNIB SOL for about 200?
  20. Flourocarbon, and braid. I prefer Seagaur Invizx for my flouro and Seagaur Kanzen for my braid.
  21. They all look so similar, which one would I want for really light lures with light line? And for certain models, which year/color? Thanks.
  22. Would the power and action make a good finesse jig and plastics rod? Looking for something good for flukes, small jigs, and maybe an occasional jerkbait, all under 1/2 ounce.
  23. I'm not asking for opinions on it, I had an old one and loved it but the rods were a little overrated, my M fished like a ML. Does anybody know if the ratings on the new version are more true now? Was thinking about picking one up after Christmas, but not if they're still a little soft. I need a good 7' M/XF and if they're still overrated i'll just pick up a Powell Max instead.
