  1. If they have the new Compre, get it. Blow's the Premier out of the water (I owned a Crucial). However if not just get a Premier. Also look at the Falcon Bucoo's. I've owned a Premier. Bucoo, Crucial, Johnny Morris Signature Series II, and a Gander Mountain GSX Titanium. If you have any questions on any of these feel free to PM me.
  2. LOL, I know the feeling I used to skip school to fish
  3. Get the new one. It has the old Crucial blank, which is MUCH much better IMO. Even if you HATE eva like me, it's performance first.
  4. Like with a paint brush? How does it feel versus just using a q-tip to apply grease.
  5. In-line spinners.
  6. Enough spool tension to keep the spool from having any side to side movement. No more. No less. All the time. I also keep my brakes the same all the time. 2 centrifugal brakes. The rest is all thumb action.
  7. St.Croix Premier if you can squeeze a snippit more.
  8. I can let my Sammy sit in the water for an hour, come back, and walk the dog fine with 832
  9. The Crucials are under-powered, so it'll fish like a slightly stiffer M instead of a nice MH. I like St.Croix too. I'd go with the Magnum cranker.
  10. Sinking line with topwaters? Oh my that's wrong Just kidding, we all know about my fluorocarbon for topwater fetish.
  11. Yes, polarized lenses will still work over your transitions, and no, the polarized lenses will not harm your glasses
  12. There is a severe lack of tackle shops here About zero total.
  13. That sucks, but $%!# happens. Good thing they're getting a replacement for you asap. Thats good customer service.
  14. My gander has "Pro Packs" of senkos for a decent price. 40 senkos for only $10. Not bad indeed. Fish nicely also, and dont get tore up too bad.
  15. You can get many of the popular brands in prescription through your eye doctor, and your eye insurance may pay for some of it too. I highly recommend Costa Del Mar 580 glass with the green mirror. I cant see my jig alot of the time when i'm fishing and have zero eye strain. EVER. even when driving into the sun. Contrast is amazing with the green mirror too. However, I've heard if you dont want so much contrast and want a more natural (color wise) looking world, go with the blue mirror. However the Blue mirror will be harder to see through in low-light conditions. Costa even offers an aviator style sunglass. However, polarized glasses don't transition. They're the lense color all the time, never switching between clear. However, if you want to keep your regular glasses on, look into a pair of cocoons. I think you'll enjoy a pair of Costa's though, even though you have to switch between regular glasses and the costas a few times a day.
  16. I'm curious about it also.
  17. Hmmm, make it Spaghetti-Oh!'s and provide the travel, and you've got yourself a deal
  18. BPS Stalker Tackle Backpack - filled with anything I may or may not need. 2 rods.
  19. Go ahead and fill the whole spool. The only time i partly fill the spool with mainline; 1. Briad. Mono backing to prevent line slip. 2. Expensive fluoro. I can stretch that spool to go on a few reels instead of one, maybe 2. 3. I lose enough line to affect my casting distance. I'll just tie on some more line. 4. If I do put a line on top of another, I always make sure I have enough mainline so that I never see, or feel the knot on the spool.
  20. Great quality lures. Never had problem with any breakage. However the hooks aren't the best, but they'll get the job done.
  21. The thinner line diameter of braid will definitely get your crank down a little deeper.
  22. By the time it would take 15 kids to each go in and change, before , and after class would leave absolutely zero time to actually cook something, lol
  23. Word. I did that in school and had to wear the whole chef uniform thing, ON TOP of all my winter clothes because there was no dressing room. Talk about hot, lol.
