Follow Up?
If I miss a fish I'll usually throw a senko back after it. Usually texas rigged or wacky rigged. 2 casts with m follow up bait and then i'll throw the jig back and try and work it the same as before.

What Handle Material And Type Do You Prefer?
As do I, but foam just feels like a white dog turd, so the comfort aspect is out of the water, I think I can feel more though cork (I hold some cork because of my ergonomics), so sensitivity is better in my mind, keeping in my mind I have no scientific proof though, and I think because cork weighs more I can get a better balance. I dont care about weight because all the rods in a certain price range will generally all be in the same range. Balance is key to me. I was just throwing out I don't like the JDM style stuff because all the rods are seeming to go to that style which I don't care for, instead of keeping what I liked. But if the foam is cheaper and a better rod for less, I can deal with it. But in the same price range and performance i'll pick up my style every time.

What Handle Material And Type Do You Prefer?
I voted split cork grip. In reality as long as its cork and has a very small fore grip im happy. My preference is like the falcon cara t7. Split cork, no foregrip. Very clean looking too. Not the flashy JDM looking crap. I really hate this JDM fad where everything is foam and the ugly, flashy rods. I see the new Legend Tournaments from St.Croix in my future, or a Powell or Dobyns. They have a little bit of style but still look clean. Not some ugly looking JDM rod.

What Kind Of Line Do You Like For These Applications?
1. I wont share my answer because the rest of the forum disagree's. But it rhymes with 15 hound Snore-o-carbon. 2. 12-15 lb. Fluoro. I like Seaguar Abrazx because its super abrasion resistant for fishing around cover. 3. 10 lb. Yo-Zuir Hybrid. Castable as mono, but a lot stronger, and plenty sensitive.

Dipping Snuff
I tried it and I enjoy it, along with cigarettes, and snus, And other stuff Don't regret it. I don't have bad lungs, because I exercise. My dentist loves my mouth, because I brush them twice a day like it says on the toothpaste. Although, im sure the chemicals aren't good for us. But like OHIO said almost everything is bad for us. You only live once too, so you might as well enjoy your ride.

Need Some Recommendations For A Tube Bait Rod
Powell Max or Dobyns Saavy.

Shimano Crucial
What stasher said. I had the same model that you bought preed37 and it was under-rated. I'd say good for 1/4 oz jigs or t-rigs is where it excelled. Also, small spinnerbaits.

Biggest Fish You've Hooked?
Mid-day. 10-12 lb Largemouth. Probably only 9-10. Pop-R. 6 feet of water. Casting along standing timber. Cast. Splash. Pop pop. pop pop pooooop blurp. BULOGKALASSHHHHHH. Yeah, he exploded on it. But I was using some junky line just for "Trying it out" 's sake. I think it was 10 # Trilene 100%. Yuck. But anyways he wrapped me around a tree, and I did get him off of it. But when I got him within 10 feet she gave me a good jump and snapped my line. Abrasion from tree is my guess.

Spinning Rod And Reel
Thanks! I'd recommend the 2500 size. I use the alberto knot. It has a very small profile and is VERY strong. The best part is you can use two different line sizes and it will still hold strength. And yes, I just cut about a rods length worth of fluoro of the spool and tie it to the end of the braid. Usually around 7'. I'll recommend 30# Sufix 832 with a Seagaur InvizX fluoro leader. in maybe 10 #. You can go higher if you choose however. Memory really isn't a problem when it's a 7' leader.

Spinning Rod And Reel
I've used the president and no doubt it's a great reel for your money. You can save money for a $20 better rod($200), but unless you drop 220 on the Cumara, I still think the 180 Avid is the leader of the pack. But if you don't want to drop 280 for the Cumara and the President, I would stick with the 260 Avid and Exceler. In my opinion the Daiwa is a much better reel, and is built like a tank. That is purely my opinion though and other's may differ. I'd say when your at BPS put both in your hand, and see what feels best to you. After all it's your rig and you have to be comfortable with it. If that fish so much as farts on your lure, you'll feel it. And the better part is no line memory. You can, but it wont be as sensitive as braid/flouro, and you have to use smaller line on spinning reels with flouro, unless your into A LOT of memory. I like Yo Zuri. Its more sensitive than mono and almost as sensitive as flouro but it's alot more soft and supple than flouro, so it won't have as much memory as fluoro. Yuck! Mono is probably the worst line for fishing soft plastics. Period. Its not very sensitive, and it's pretty stretchy, so you'll have to up your hookset, and at lets say a cast length away, most of your hookset will be absorbed by the lines stretch. But, it's VERY soft and supple. So casting is a breeze. St.Croix rods iirc are a little under-rated so their M is kinda in between M and MH. I myself love this weight for plastics fishing as I can get awesome casts and still have a rod with some backbone. The XF tip on it will let you cast even the lighter weight lures a good distance, with plenty of accuracy, and it will also give you a rock solid hookset by going to the backbone so fast.

Not An Artist, But I'll Share...
I think you should lower it just a smidge man, if you get it. It definitely looks sick though man. I might get one too when i'm 18. Here's a Red Eye Shad I tried to copy. Not imaginary like the spinner. I think this one looks a lot sicker. Im happy with it Straight Pencil, all free hand. I little shine from my light up top, and on the eye and kill spot. If anyone wants the Red Eye Shad picture, PM me. I'll gladly give it to you. It looks better in person too.

Not An Artist, But I'll Share...
I think it looks okay. Alot of inconsistencies. 100% free hand though. No rulers, no nothing. I think the top half came out pretty good, like the blades, swivels, beads.
