Wooden lure molds.
How will they hold up? I carved out a fluke type mold and melted down some old ripped up plastics, and got about 3 good ones worthy of fishing. Is wood okay to use for a while? The middle fluke can out true-est to my mold

500
The truck race really was one of the best I've seen in a while. Im mad Kurt Busch didn't take the bottom and let the other guys fly by. Kurt very well could've been in the spot to win it, but made a mistake.

If you could ask Shaw Grigsby a question

Help me choose my next rod?
I have a SHIMANO Crucial 7' M/XF rod that is perfect for light and weightless t-rigs, as well as finesse jigs. If the taper is similar on the Compre, (Im assuming it is) I would look at the Compre rods. However I believe they only offer a 6'6" M/XF or a 7' MH/XF.

Copolymers for topwater?
Not directed toward me, but I've used both InvizX and AbrazX and both are IMO the BEST fluorocarbon lines you can buy that won't burn a hole in your wallet. Both lines are extremely manageable. When I chose fluoro for casting gear it's usually 12 or 15# AbrazX.

Carbonlite question
The drag max is rated at 8 lbs, and I think it's max is just that. I pitch plastics with mine, and locked down will do, but keep the spool from moving on the hookset with my thumb. Its actually very smooth and easy to make pitches with IMO

Watch Out for Global Subscriptions!!!
I get these sorts of calls all the time. You know they're up to no good when they want info like your age, how many kids you have, etc.

Advantage of Curado 300?
IIRC, doesn't the Curado 300 has a 6.X:1 gear ratio instead of a 5.1:1 or 7.1:1 ?

Flex Fit fer crying out loud!!!!
Not a combination of backward flat-billed caps?

Flex Fit fer crying out loud!!!!
I have flat billed, and curved billed hats. But, I ONLY wear flat bills backwards, and I ONLY wear curved billed forwards. Whatever my mojo is feeling that day. But for curved bills, I like flexfit. Just fits my head perfect. However, I prefer fitted New Eras. I think i'm like 7 1/2 or 7 1/4. Although, I've grown up loving the plastic snap closure that used to be on all NASCAR hats.

Best worm hook?
Small finesse worms get a 2/0 or 1/0 offset worm hook. Average worm gets a 3/0 EWG Worm hook. Anything bigger gets a 4/0 or 5/0 Superline EWG

- Ankle sprains...
I can't tell if that's sarcasm or not.- Ankle sprains...
Just got back from the ole' doc, and after x-rays and ultrasounds, I have a medium sized stress fracture on my heel, a partially torn ligament, and a inflammed ligament. 3 problems in one visit. So now I have to wear a boot for 4-6 weeks, and follow up in 3 weeks. No lax for me this year, but I can still manage and help everybody out, which is not nearly as good as playing, but it'll still be kinda fun.- Favorite decade for music?
I see I have brothers 8-)- So about that trip to Hawaii...
Are those sugar cane sticks in the last picture? A local mexican place around me sells 'em and I can't get enough of 'em - Ankle sprains...
