  2. I know they do!!! Shhhhhh Hey @Eric 26 That “team from Wisconsin” lost And alls right in the world! Mike
  3. Russell Cant really tell but if the edges look somewhat serrated coupled with the red spot where the leaves meet the stem that is new growth of Hydrilla Mike
  4. I see your point as that’s where your confidence is right now. If you’re thinking that way now what would you think when you use something else and get your next and next? Don’t get to the point of having paralysis by analysis. Trust me, it can get expensive Mike
  5. @Eric 26 Hey Eric! Oh Yeah! From beginning to the end regardless of the score or how they play. Always have. Don’t lose the faith brother. Johnson’s offense wasn’t what it was the last 3yrs in Detroit during first year either. He’s only had 1 off season and 2 training camp with the majority of players he inherited from the clown he replaced. Plus, don’t forget Caleb Williams is learning another offense after having 3 head coaches and 2 offensive coordinators his first year. Gotta have faith now, Don’t give up on them after only 2 games after all those changes. I firmly believe in time this too shall pass. Mike
  6. They’re talking about the co angler offering and being prepared to help cover fuel costs when fishing a 2 man tournament. Along with lunch, water and ice for that matter. Most times it’s not wanted or expected. (it’s just what I have always done and many others I know especially in open draw National and Regional trails Mike
  7. Stay on topic fellas or start another thread all together. Mike
  8. I’ve been fishing competitively throughout the SE in MLF and B.A.S.S. tournaments for years as a co angler and volunteered to Marshall a few Elite Series tournaments. It has been my overwhelming experience that a competitor on the very low end of the leader board who has a low chance to improve his standing will yield to an angler fighting for a top finish or for overall points If I entered as boater I would absolutely yield to another who had a better chance to finish It’s a choice, but more importantly It’s called professional courtesy! Not really One you decide what length and ring size you like it’s only a matter of picking one that you enjoy the most being machine or hand made. Cigars are a lot like others things, you can get deep into it trying to understand the little differences of each make and model but certainly not required Pick up a few in your price range and try them out. It won’t take long to settle on one you’ll like the most. Mike
  11. Ditto! You’re opinion is not the only one. I’ve been saying that for years. Mike

  13. 20# Shooter for flipping and pitching in most areas that I don’t punch, but not always Mike
  14. Yeah I’m watchin! Bear defense is no joke and it’s not because it’s their QB 1st start Mike
  15. OP Your choice obviously and you received good suggestions….However Personally I don’t want or need a $400+ reel to be effective when punching. Is it nice to have and helps to reduced wrist fatigue sure, but how often will you be punching 1+ oz weights for 6-8 hours straight?? I probably punch more than most folks on here and I’d venture to say most Florida guys do. Personally, I probably punch more with a 1 1/2oz-2oz than a 3/4oz-1oz. I use a 15 yr old Shimano Curado 200E7 reel and certainly not because of its weight. I want the torque of a well built, solid tank of reel with the rod to match above all. I’m not saying that what was suggested isn’t, but they’re certainly not needed. Mike
  16. @Functional My entire family on both sides are Sicilian. I’m 2nd generation My wife has my grandmother’s recipe book but a lot isn’t written down..They just did it thier way What you posted looks familiar tho, I’ll check Mike
  17. @Eric 26 OK, You asked Kelce’s notoriety is mostly because of his brother and his HOF credentials along with being the only TE with above average talent on a dynasty team, while at the same time having a calculated very public relationship with today’s most popular singer doesn’t hurt either. But to me is not a HOF player. I know everyone will disagree and that ok. Anyway, above them all you listed and probably more Butkus would have ripped his face off on the 50 and just walked away. Mike

Also what I do is… Always light just above the flame while rotating it, never place the end in the flame. It will taste better and burn evenly all the way down. If it goes out in mid smoke or after you lay it down try to take as much of the burnt edge off before relighting. Try not to overheat it. Take longer and wider spaced puffs I’ve never felt the need to purge but I can how it would help, try not to get to that point. Mike
  19. Ok, now the other side I never felt the need to use a jig head on a swim bait. I get that’s it’s probably the most common way to rig one from amateurs to pro’s, we see it all the time. Personally I use a Gamblers Duz It the majority of the time down here always fished in, through and around scattered to moderate grass fields. The big adjustable blade allows it to be retrieved in different levels of the water column without having to adjust the retrieval speed. Another plus is I throw this anywhere I would a spinner bait for a different look which helps to establish a pattern more easily. It just gives more options than just a nose dive when killing it. Also considering the flash in more tannic and less than ideal conditions, it has a tendency to draw fish in where just the thump or wiggle of a tail won’t. Mike
  20. The post is fine. Have Fun Mike
  21. Morning or late evening. Don’t stay after dark!! The Lake will be in pre spawn in mid October so I would stay along the outer edge of Coots Bay which starts on your right as soon as you cross the rim canal after you come out of the lock. If the water is calm or not I personally would not venture into The Lake under any circumstances in a Jon boat. From there all around to Ritta Island is fairly protected with patches of hard bottom with isolated clumps of reeds and fields of Kissimmee and eel grass for miles. If we get an early cold front then turn left into the rim canal and go a few miles to Uncle Joe’s cut which is a wide canal on your right that empties into the The Lake which will be more protected from a North wind. If you’re into finesse type fishing that’s the place You could pick up a cheap map if you want at any of the tackle shops to help you get your bearings. Good Luck Mike
  22. Sounds like a Great trip. Glad you’re back safe Mike
  23. Ditto I don’t know why any rod would be labeled H/F for cranks unless BPS is way off on their power designation to what most consider heavy. Mike
  24. Ditto A light spray at the end of the day and you’re good. Don’t hit it full blast from a garden hose either, just a light shower over the reel if it needs it and up and down the rod also. Mike
