Yes, One ring is sufficient. When using a separately tied independent spit ring of any kind I remove the “stock” one first @Lottabass Said it best. There are others that are easier to use but not necessarily better. It’s a preference thing with function not the only consideration. Mike
  8. Magnum UV Speed Worm and Rage Bug since they were first released. None before were as successful Mike
  9. Me neither, that stuff is getting old. I thought for sure they would come out smokin given the last game, at home, seeding on the line, etc etc Oh well, gotta believe Johnson isn’t gonna let this opportunity slip being on Detroit staff that let it for 3yrs. Not even mentioning That team from Wisconsin is coming to town. Having a lead in the 1st quarter and holding it should be something to see. Mike
  10. Keep the faith brother We’ll get em!! Mike
  11. When I switched to 99% Trokar’s years ago, I don’t touch them anymore which I always did regardless of brand. Once in a while they’ll need a touch up but that’s it. The others I just toss Mike
  12. As was said, chum for bait. I’ve never seen or heard of it being done anywhere in the state for Bass. Do a search on here as I’ve listed guides many times that I’ve personally fished with in tournaments as a co angler but mostly on The Lake. Mike
  13. This is the kind of thread that Tom (WRB 1.0 and 2.0) would jump on. Mike
  14. Apparently a lot of people like them but I’ve always thought they were just a gimmick. Still do Mike
  15. If my Noona heard that you compared her cookies to a fig newton you wouldn’t be invited for dinner (then she’d feel bad and let you in anyway)😃 The fig is only one part…. Rum or Whiskey Pitted Dates Raisons Toasted Almonds Candied fruit Orange Rind Honey And certain other things in the proper proportions Mike
  16. O Man I wish I would have seen this sooner. There’s never any left overs or I certainly would have. I definitely will when she makes it again Mike

I used to use them but my fingers are too fat now. Mike
  19. Mrs Mike has always kept my Ma’s tradition of Italian sausage and peppers, ricotta bread and Sicilian cucidadi cookies. Mike
  20. 6’ 1” on a white Rage Bug
  21. The only thing I go is to use it first at my next outing and try to dial it in by which bait and weight (if any) it’s best suited for and hope I made the right choice for what I bought it for. After that I just put it in rotation. Mike
  22. Happy New Year to you all! May you and your families know good health, happiness and peace all year Mike
  23. Totally agree! I don’t care if they take offense or not 😜 No self respecting Bear fan will pass on any opportunity to knock “That team from Wisconsin” out of anything Mike
  24. Unbelievable game! We almost had it Can’t believe a hook and ladder with seconds to go and it works!! Mike
