Flipping rod
For punching, flipping and pitching In heavy cover I use a h/xf Quantum Smoke rod. However, when tournament season begins I'm gonna pickup a Okuma Mat Daddy TCS. I really haven't read many negative reports about it, the vast majority have all been positive. Mike

Muddy water and lots of grass.
I only use 3 different colors...Watermelon with a little red in clear water, pumpkin for stained or what Bluebasser86 posted for dirty, muddy water. There are many variant color combinations but predominately those are it There are many ways to rig a worm...With or without texposeing the hook point, weightless, pegged weight to hook, free sliding weight, a weight pegged above the hook, on a jig head, wacky and shaky style etc etc If you have any specific questions or problems with any of them post it. KVD line conditioner good for mono?
I've found the best and most economical way to apply it when spooling is to use a nylon. You use less and for the reason .ghoti posted. Mike

Floro on a baitcaster - want to give it another try
Tatsu is the best you can buy, but I use Flouro on all my setups except for punching and use 12# Sniper for presentations in light to moderate cover and 20# Shooter in heavy, and very satisfied. Tatsu is expensive for a reason, it's that good. Sniper and Shooter are a very close second. Mike

price not an issue
MH/F Loomis NRX. Why? Because after all the reviews I've read, talking to guys who have one, and comments on here from folks who actually use one... 2nd choice would be a Phenix Ultra MBX Classic..I've been hearing more and more about them. Mike Mike

Rage Toad Falling Over
Dypsis Yes you can but it depends on the size you use. With a single EWG use a 5/0, the double I use a 5/0 or 6/0 which makes it easier. You would think the 6/0 would be too big but it's really not. Mike
