Happy Valentine's Day!
Living in our motorhome we spend almost every minute with each other, which really doesn't give me a chance to jump in the jeep and go shopping without her wanting to go along. This week was no exception. After 46 yrs together a card really doesn't get it done anyway. So this morning I just drew all kinds of stuff on post it notes and plastered them on almost every door and wall in the place. I don't think I've ever gotten a more sloppy kiss!! Mike

Ancestry
100% Sicilian...My grandparents from both sides emigrated from Sicily in the early 1900's. We did a family tree on my Dad's side and got as far as the late1600's before we stopped. On my Ma's side only to the 1800's so far. We just haven't had the time to put it all together. I know my line goes back much farther. Mike

Divided boat
You still have 3 areas to fish in from the back of the boat as he does.. Granted, if he's speeding along the rear is not the most advantageous place to fish but if you think you're at a disadvantage then you are. Fish how and what you know...Improvise, Overcome and Adapt is never more true than fishing from the back.

Color revisited!
Color has always been part of the overall puzzle for me when trying to establish a pattern for years...Why? Because that is what I've always read and been told. However, as I said before in many other thread it's not the be all end all... Will a June bug work better than white in some instances? Sure, but is it the overall deciding factor? No. Last week in a B.A.S.S. Nations qualifier on Okeechobee, my boater was culling by 9:00 pitching a June Bug beaver in heavy grass and floating hyacinth. Me? Not one bite! I changed to a Honey Candy Cut R with a pegged 3/16 weight and started swimming it around in open water and dropping it in holes around where he was pitching the beaver, and by 11:00 I was culling. I gave him one when his bite slowed and he couldn't get bit! About an hour later went back to the beaver and he started again. I didnt change anything the rest of the day. Lesson learned... Mike

Mojo Bass Glass vs SCIII
What it says on the rod is the manufacture's suggestion, that's all it is. You should use it as a guide not as a statement of fact. The action and ratings of the rod is more important to make a decision based on what you plan to use it for. Ideally, I want a 7' + moderate action composite rod for cranks of any size. Case in point....I use a 7' Phenix X11 composite rod with a rating up to 3oz. It will throw a 1.5 as easily as a 10xd Mike

Roland Martin marina @Big O
I stay there all the time, at least once a month, sometimes 2. Thier rooms are clean, comfortable and very convenient. Thier rates are in line with all the other motels in Clewiston. The "trailers" have a kitchen with all appliances. Mike
