  1. In the summer down here everything gets covered to some degree. Mike
  2. I try to get out at least once every 2 weeks. The average would be much more if counting pre fishing tournaments and competition days Mike
  3. My only technique specific is my punch setup… But then again.. Mike
  4. Free agent money and draft picks Mike
  5. I was gonna say a stolen raft from a kids yard but this pretty much covers it Mike
  6. Yes he does, another reason why the number of rings isn’t the be all of rankings Mike
  7. Oh Wow, I didn’t know Al passed away! That’s too bad. He was always ready to help anyone. Mike
  8. The guy doesn’t have no where near the numbers, but if you add ability as a complete leader coupled with a bigger heart who played like a linebacker, he’d be above any of those guys Besides, Ya Gotta love a guy who shoots the moon at a press helicopter!! Mike
  9. Kast King Gill Raker Mike

I watched that last weekend, excellent movie. I read somewhere that it was very accurate to what actually happened. Mike
  11. Football isn’t baseball where numbers rule. Which never made sense to me when an hitter who does his job 1/4 of the time is considered “average” or one who does it 1/3 of time is considered an all time great in some circles! Ridiculous Football is totally different. Yeah numbers mean something of course but a guy who plays 20+ years should have all the records. Being the ultimate team sport nobody would last long and accumulate numbers without a dozen others doing thier job at a higher than average level. Nobody can tell me that Farve is an all time top 10 QB. Someone who holds the all time record for giving the ball to the other team doesn’t deserve to be compared to any of them. Brady, Manning (Peyton), Montana, Marino, Brees, Elway, and even a few from different eras that played without the benefit of rules changes (Untias, Baugh, Graham etc. ) and yes even the latest QB from that team from Wisconsin has to be in the conversation fir what they accomplished. The number of SB or championship TEAMS they were on is way down the list to be a consideration in that conversation. But that’s me Mike

  13. This stuff is great! I use it on my GTO’s tires, seats, rubber trim, floor mats etc. It doesn’t attract dust and it leaves a non sticky or slick finish and leaves a low satin look on anything you put it on. Mike This is all I use now to clean almost anything. Use it diluted or not depending on what you need to remove. Mike
  14. I had a Siera 735 that I liked for frogs until I got the 715 Kaden. ( didn’t even consider the Fury) The Kaden has a faster action which I wanted because it triples as my C Rig and swim bait combo. As was said the Sierra’s action is much slower and being a 5 power the options are minimized. Mike
  15. Being surrounded by oak trees one of the best things I ever did was put the leaf guards on. If you decide to also, make sure you check all the different types as some are better for pine needles Mike
  16. If you do anything long enough you learn what you like, what you have confidence in and what you have the most success with. In regards to fishing, if I had unlimited funds and storage capacity I probably would try new things more often. Sometimes something new will catch my eye and try one just because, but invariably it seems I always go back to my comfort zone. Mike
  17. The different shapes of the head are intended for different presentations. A football shaped head is intended to be used when fishing in and around rocks. The shape makes it less likely to get caught up as opposed to a one intended to be used as swim jig because of its pointed head. However, Don’t get totally caught up in what is intended. It just makes it easier to use for different reasons. Mike
  18. That’s Great @Koz I wish him the best of luck going forward Mike
  19. No I really haven’t! There are so many so called “knock off’s” of the UV Speed Worm lately that it’s hard to keep up with. Speed Senko, Z Man, Big Bites, Tour and others all have one. It’s just that I have so much confidence and a long term successful history with the Speed Worm, I really just look past everything else. That said, the one that has me intrigued is the Berkeley Speed Boss only because of the dual tail design but it really has to be something special. But, I will definitely check out that Buzz Worm first before anything else! Thanks for letting me know about it! Mike
  20. When you have folks who are willing to share without agendas, ease of navigation, moderated within the rules and overseen by the vision of the owner personally..it’s not surprising at all. Mike
  21. @Catt Makes a good point! How does a hot pink stick worm get bit? The ONLY time I stick to one color for a certain anything is white and only when sight fishing a bed. I have a rotation of only 3-4 colors that I can use, but only cycle through them as a last resort before moving on. As long as a bait is chosen for where and how I’m fishing, somewhat along the lines as @WRB outlined, color could make all the difference….Or Not. Ma bass will let you know Mike

  23. I’m not a Texas guy, but when we retired we fulfilled our dream of buying a motor home and hitting the road. Even tho I would have liked to be on their wall of honor, we didn’t leave hungry!!
  24. Never heard of a steak prepared that way being called “Pittsburgh medium rare” I’ve ordered a few that way and liked it. Mike
  25. One of my biggest last year came on a Skinny Dipper with a nickel Duz-It underspin. They just couldn’t lay off it. Mike
