Senko/trick worm/fluke rod - M or MH, length?
All of my plastics are thrown on a 7' MH fast tip, but everything goes into a really dense grass bed(s).

Floro on a baitcaster - want to give it another try
I have settled on InvizX 15lb for jigs and plastics. I have tried others (not the expensive others) and found this line to be a goody and economical medium. The line is .013 in in diameter, which is the same as some other flouro 12 lb lines, very flexible and strong. Rather than buy $27 200 yd spools all the time, I found a 1000yd spool on Amazon for $89 and that equates to a whopping savings..

Chronarch MGL help
I am a Tidal Potomac angler and we have to have an extensive drought before the salt line begins to move up the river. I am mid point from D.C. to the bay and fish my Chronarch MGLs all over the river. The Potomac has data buoys, accessible on line, which give you all kinds of real time water quality data but I do not know if they exist for the Sassafras. Try this web site: buoybay.noaa.gov//locations The new Chronach G will be a salt water version.

KVD line conditioner good for mono?
What is the big deal, if you do not want to use it, don't use it. I do and have on all lines and it works and my lines do not turn chalky, bleached, purple, blue, or yellow with polka dots. Boy, this subject is getting beaten to death and this is what the company says: "Line & Lure is a special polymer blend that becomes part of the fishing line it is applied to. Other line treatments you find on the market are primarily silicone oil and solvents. Silicone oil only temporarily coats the line and solvents can damage line. Silicone oil rapidly comes off the line (on your hands and in the water), requiring re-treatment of the line after just a few casts. The special polymers in Line & Lure are hydrophobic (water repelling) and very slippery. It doesn't allow water to draw back on to the reel spool, which eliminates the line drag that a "wet" spool has. It also protects the line from wearing out as quickly as un-treated line because it resists the abrasion that wears line out. It contains no oils or solvents as in Reel Magic that can build up and collect dirt like silicone/oil treatments will".

Question: Removing handle-side side plate on Chronarch MGL
I use a 000 WIHA Phillips for the little bugger and it is tiny. Use the correct size or you will really mess up the screw.

Abu Revo Rocket Spinning, or Shimano Nasci spinning
Looked on Amazon and see two versions of the same reel. One is black for $101 and one is silver for $150. Both are the 2000SH models. Maybe the silver version is a newer Diawa. No mention of the retrieve ratio.

What size(s) leader on 20# braid
Holy cow! 20lb braid would be like fishing with sewing thread. Is that like 4lb diameter?

Chronarch G and new Sustain...
Same as the Chronarch MGL. but salt water version.

Curado 70 - Bearing Size for Handles ?
Call Tackle Warehouse and they may tell you since they sell bearings and service/tune reels.

Curado and Distance
I use 2 brakes on and the outside dial on "2". You might want to tinker with the cast control cap pressure until you can get your distance with no back lash. Anyway, that is what I did and it worked out all right. I use Sufix 832 50lb braid with my frogs on a 7' MH rod.

Abu Revo Rocket Spinning, or Shimano Nasci spinning
Anyone here have one? BPS wants $200 for a Rocket and Amazon available for $128. One review said that out of the box it would not turn and had to be sent back. I am also looking at the Shimano Nasci 3000. Only considering these two. Comments on either will be appreciated. I am loving my two Shimano Saharas.

Sufix performance fuse
No, but the Sufix 832 braid is a great product.

KVD line & lure
This is from the company who developed KVD L&L: "Line & Lure is a special polymer blend that becomes part of the fishing line it is applied to. Other line treatments you find on the market are primarily silicone oil and solvents. Silicone oil only temporarily coats the line and solvents can damage line. Silicone oil rapidly comes off the line (on your hands and in the water), requiring re-treatment of the line after just a few casts. Curado 70
These really are great little reels. I have a couple of the 70XG's and they are primarily used for plastics fishing and once I got them "tuned in" they really fish themselves. At the outset, it surprised me at how much pressure I had to put on the cast control cap with two brakes on and an outside side dial setting "2" to get the spool to settle down, but I still got the distance. It seemed it had to be a little tighter than my other Shimano Curados and Chronarchs. Both of mine are spooled with InvizX 15lb flouro, which is only .013" in diameter.

Some questions on bearings
Another thought. I spray my bearings with CRC Electric Cleaner by placing the bearings in a tiny food strainer (step outdoors). This stuff will eliminate grease/oil in a heartbeat, dries fast and leaves no residue and is pretty odor free. Follow with a 5minute bath in lighter fluid, blow dry, lube and ready to go and the whole process is finished in 10 minutes. I don't pack my pinion bearings in grease anymore and now dip them is TSI301 after making sure the initial grease is well removed. Two years now on the pinion bearings and it works great. I got this from the salt water anglers. I am a do it yourself reel maintenance fanatic for 15 years now and have used everything under the sun to hasten the cleaning time with good results.

KVD line & lure
I only know that it made difference in my Sufix 832 performance and for two years now on the same spool.

KVD line & lure
Strange fading happened. I have used it on my frog reel with the same 50lb Sufix 832 for two years now with no change in the color.

Need some Braid cutters and a Powell rod
Any shears with a cerated (sp) edge will do it. I used a pair of childrens shears for a long time. The edge is the key.
- Hollow body and Soft plastic frogs

Budget MH rod?
Yes. the Tourney Trails are excellent rods. I have their 2-piece I bought 10 years ago and it is light as a feather and going strong. I paid $80 for it.
-
Best casting braid for hollow bodied frogs
I have no idea if there is a "best" because everyone has a favorite. In my case it is Sufix 832 in 50lb. An excellent fishable braid.

Loop Knot
I am lazy and use small duoloc snaps on my crank baits. Never had one fail.

Glue(s) Used In Knot Tying?
Never glued. never failed knot.
