Do you have boat access or just bank fishing? I would opt to go fishing, as this is your best chance to catch a bass! My suggestions would be something slow and on the bottom. T-rig, Jig or carolina rig. Something you could try over the grass is a weightless plastic or just a small split shot rig! Let us know how you do! Jeff

Ironically enough, the tropical storm sitting over Baccarac right now and the best guide in Mexico are both named Manuel. Hopefully next time, the only Manuel on the lake will be the guide! Jeff

2 recommendations: 1- If using a shot gun, use something smaller than buckshot. Something like a good duck shell. It still has the penetrating power, and a better spread. Plus it will not go through the wall into the next room 2- There are handguns(Taurus Judge was the first?) that shoot both handgun cartridges AND .410 shotgun shells! Jeff
