It is like all Mexican lakes. There are netters. There are many types of Asian carp, but the two most common of the invasive species are: big head carp and silver carp. This is a silver carp. Buffalo are more brownish, you can see the scaling(most of the time) and have a more pronounced sucker mouth. Jeff

Ranger z118 can be had for low 30's before taxes and extras. Like 32-33ish

Big rains happening at the lodge right now. Lake is rising to over 50% full. Here is a pic from our last trip down when the lake was in the lower 30% capacity, and a shot from today at just over 50% full. Fishing will resume at the end of the rainy season which should be the 3rd week of September. I will have a detailed report with many pictures from that week. Expect the next update to be around September 26th. Jeff
