  1. Congrats to her on her PB! Jeff
  2. Hudd baits as a whole is a very small business in the world of fishing. Ken strives to maintain excellent quality baits, and this is not something he can just "quickly" do. He also lets most of, if not all of his guys off on the weekends to fish. He is commonly the only one there on Saturdays, so I am sure he is a little behind on updating. Give it a couple more days, and if nothing updates, give them a call by midweek! Jeff

  4. Congrats on the pb. Get some good gama or owner hooks and replace them all. Wont have a problem like that anymore. Jeff Btw- how long is that fish? Hard to tell from pic on phone
  5. Take care of yourself and get better. The fishing in TN this time of the year is slow anyways! Jeff

  8. I have been carrying Kershaw knives for about 12 years now. The blackout serrated is my favorite. I have had about 6 different ones but the blackout is my favorite. Check fleabay. There is a guy who sells seconds for cheap. They have XXX on the blade.
  9. I have the Legend Elite M power rod and I think it fishes heavier, more like a MH. I find it balances better with a bit of a heavier reel on it(mine has a stradic fi) as opposed to the ci4 reels on my other spinning reels. It has a lot of backbone throughout the entire blank and it build with quality materials. It has decent feel and sensitivity, but to be honest I have been more impressed with another brand of spinning rods for half the price. That being said, they are split grip so out for you. Good luck with your search, and if you happen to get this rod, let us know what you think of it. Jeff
  10. I got in contact with the store manager. Told him I wanted nothing from it, but to warn him of letting said employee sharpen any others knives. Whether or not he does anything about it is in his court now, but he didn't even ask me to bring it by to see the damages. Jeff
  11. Yea, Nothing but laughs here. Got to pick and choose your battles. He was trying to help. He should not have tried to help if he didn't know what he was doing, but it is not worth getting the guy in trouble or possibly fired over. Lesson learned. Always do it yourself! BTW- I am too embarrassed to send it back to Kershaw for warranty. Can you imagine what they would think when they saw this thing???? Jeff
  12. Glad to hear you are eating better. Tell Kit to whip up some good fattening food for ya! Jeff
  13. Now that is a sweet setup! Congrats! Jeff
  14. Closed season in the ocean means you can catch them but not keep them. Much different that freshwater, where targeting a fish in closed season in forbidden! Jeff
  15. Went to the local BPS after a meeting today to try and find a 1lb empty spool of line. Got that taken care of. But once done, remembered that my knife was a little dull and wanted to go see if they had one of those "do-it-yourself" knife sharpeners on the counter, just to get by until I had the time to break out my stuff and do it myself. As I approach the counter, the guy behind the counter asks, " May I help you?" To which I reply, "Yea, I was seeing if ya'll had one of those knife sharpeners sitting on the counter I could run my blade through real quick?" He said, " Nah let me see it." I take my Kershaw out and hand it to him, and he takes it behind the counter and turns on the grinder. I proceed to look over the knives in the glass display under him, not paying a lick of attention. A few moments later, he hands me back my knife and said, " Sometime those Kershaws are a pain to sharpen, but I got some of those nicks out for ya" I said, " Thanks a lot" and walked away............ Not see anything wrong here? Well let me flip it over for ya!
