What year is this? What time of the year? Nothing, and I mean NOTHING beats a topwater strike. Devils Horse or a Buzzbait for me. Then the tried and true T-rig worm is always tied on. I went through, heck who am I kidding, I am a jig-a-holic. Now these big swimbaits......... Jeff

I designed this jig for the exact conditions you have in mind. My main fishing hole is a river oxbow, that has at best 6-8'' clarity and most would call it chocolate milk. Easier way to stow and deploy. Not bad once you get used to it, but it is much easier to yank a cord and be done. But I have yet to take mine off my boat!!!! Jeff
