We do blind tastings all the time. My employees and myself can usually pick out the better one. Not necessarily the higher priced one. Our customers seem to pick out the lower proofed sweeter bourbon. Jeff

In fact they are raising it! Scheduled for a mid year raise in price not to be at the same time of the release of the lower proof! I just got a shipment in of the 90 proof, calling all Memphians!!! Our wholesaler ran completely out for the month of December. It was scarce around here. Jack has gone from 86 to 80 and it actually didn't hurt them. I suspect this is what Makers is looking at. Difference is Jack is a TN whiskey ages for less than 4 years. Makers is an actual bourbon and aged for an average of 6 years. Jeff
