Did you know that Carl had a big hand in getting Little Ricky to where he is? As well as Tony Stewart? When RSJ was running local, he got a shot to run TSR #20 usac car for the injured Tracy Hines? maybe. He actually lived with Tony while running for him. He went on to win some big races, and then got a ride with RE Technologies in Memphis(partially owned by Carl Edwards) Then CE got him hooked up with Roush and the rest is history. Great young man and a heck of a wheelman. He was never afraid to hit the high side and throw it sideways on the dirt track. Would make a groove where no one else would run. Jeff

Thats right! I grew up racing against "Little Ricky". I have known him for 20 years. We raced each other in karts, all the way through dirt track until he left me in his dust(pun intended). His father is a very well known and respected engine builder here in town and he is the ONLY person who built any of my race engines. We still talk on a regular basis and I wish him the best of luck!

Some of you might remember reports from "Pond X" a couple years ago. Well the levy/dam was fixed about 8 months ago, so we decided to give it another shot. I took a roadrunner thinking there might be some bream/crappie in there from the birds. No stocking has been done, and I was pretty sure the whole thing dried up. Seems some life survived right by the natural spring that creates the pond. Jeff

I'm not getting into a ticking match with you. Actually I looked up the past threads with the "Shimano doesn't have replacement parts" I was going to direct you to the search function to point out that the point is mute, but it seemed you had been involved in ALL of those threads anyways. No researching on you at all. Criticize Shimano all you want; To each there own, but do not bash me for liking them. I am one of many who like Shimano here. You are one of many who do not. Not a big deal. I actually own other reels. It is not the end of the world to me. This discussion will end here. Hope you have a great weekend of fishing, and hope mine is just as well. Jeff
