As far as Randy Moss not giving a total effort is not true. Just because he didn't rack up a lot of catches so far this season, he was in on the most offensive plays next to Brady. Just having him on the field opens a lot of other options. Now, if the Vikings give Randy another contract, Brett can come out of retirement 4 more times. ;D ;D ;D Good luck, Randy. Moss did not play to his highest potential every play. I can recall a lot of times where after he got hit by a corner he would just stop. He wasn't motivated to play with the Pats and it showed. If you get paid that much, you better try. I'm not saying that he didn't help the team, I am saying that he could have been a bigger help.

If you like the Citori better than the Callisto, I would switch them. The slight gear ratio difference won't be a problem Your line choices seem fine, but I prefer braid for my jig rod because of the sensitivity. Other than that, I'd say your good to go.

I can't wait to see what Moss can do with the Vikings and Farve. It was a good move by the Patriots to trade him IMO because he looked really sluggish on the field due to lack of motivation. Hopefully Moss can get his act together and score some touchdowns for the Vikings. A future hall of fame quarterback, receiver, and running back is the perfect recipe for victory. I might have to pull out the old Moss jersey when he was on the Vikings.

Professional fishing is really unlike any other professional sport. They don't have private jets or Bentleys that they travel in, just a pickup and a trailer. They don't act like arrogant ****** either.

I don't really agree with any of the posts here. To my knowledge, buzzbaits aren't designed to run crooked at all. All the buzzbaits I have ever used come out of the packaging running straight, but it's a whole different story after a few fish. IMO Booyah buzzbaits are the best. Very durable.

That sounds like a great trip. You gotta love it when you can't get a thing and then catch some big ones. I really like the way you measured the fish too. Never really thought of that before.

I usually carry every bait I own for some reason, but end up using 3-4 the whole time. I usually only take two rods which doesn't make much sense either because if I take every lure, I should take every rod. I'm glad you posted this. I'll probably try to carry a lot less now.

Not to sure what a flipper is, but the Accurist is a pretty good reel. However, there are a lot of better reels. If the Accurist has the price you are looking for, I would also check out others such as - BPS Pro Qualifier - Quantum Catalyst - Revo S What will your dad be using the reel for (cranks, jigs, topwater, etc.)? This should be a large part of your decision on which reel to buy.

Is it going to be a technique specific set up or what? Also, which Abu rod is it? I'm not so fond of the Vendetta spinning rods. A ton of better rods in that price range.
